John Morgan of Porte de Grave (B) and Sarah Bishop of Burnt Head were married in this School House on the 2nd (22?) day of December 1847 by John Cunningham, minister.   In the presence of:  John Morgan X Sarah Bishop X Jacob Bishop

George Bishop of Burnt Head (B) and Hannah Batten of Salmon Cove (S) were married in this school house on the 9th day of December 1847 by me, John Cunningham, Officiating minister.  This marriage was Solemnized  Between us George Bishop X Hannah Bishop X . In the presence of John Bishop X Christopher Butler X.

This is to certify that Thomas LeDrew of Cupits (B) and Julia Bishop of Burnt Head (S) were married by me in the School House at Burnt Head on the 21 day of December 1848 by me.  W.T. Stoyles, Clerk in Holy Orders.  This marriage was Solemnized between us Thomas LeDrew X Julia Bishop X.  In the presence of ____ _____ (both blanks)

Shannon.  This marriage was Solemnized between us Jacob Morgan X Elizabeth Bishop X.  In the presence of William Morgan X Joseph Parsons X.

Nathan Butler (B) and Anna Maria Bishop (S) both of Burnt Head were married in the School Room at Burnt Head this 26th day of November 1857 by me, William Shannon.  This marriage was Solemnized  Between us Nathan X Butler Anna Maria X Bishop.

In the presence of us James X Morgan George X Bishop.

William Scott, South Side, and Mary Bishop of Burnt Head were married in the School House at Burnt Head on this 28th day December 1859 by me, W. Shannon.  This marriage was Solemnized  Between us William Scott X Mary Bishop.

Abraham Hussey of Salmon Cove (B) and Ann Eliza Bishop (S) of Porte de Grave were married in the School House at Burnt Head this 7th day of December 1865 by me, Robert Holland Taylor.  This marriage was Solemnized between us Abraham X Hussey Ann Eliza X Bishop.  In the presence of Joseph X Hussey Virtue X Butler.

Robert Newell of Burnt Head (B) and Susannah Bishop of Burnt Head (S) were married at the School Room at Burnt Head this 20th day of April 1867 by me Robert Holland Taylor.  This marriage was Solemnized  Between us Robert Newell Susannah X Bishop.

Henry Bishop of South Side, Burnt Head (B) and Jane Bishop of Burnt Head (S) were married in the School Room at Burnt Head this 31st day of December 1867 by me Robert Holland Taylor.  This marriage was Solemnized between us Henry X Bishop Jane X Bishop

William Batten (W) of Bareneed and Elizabeth Bishop (S) of Burnt Head were married in St. Augustine's Church, Burnt Head on 30 November 1889 by me William Pilot(?) BD.  This marriage was Solemnized between us William Batten, Elizabeth X Bishop.  In the presence of Thomas Roberts, ? W Roberts, Henry X Bishop, John Bishop, Elijah Bishop, Emma Bishop.  I certify that the above is a certified copy of the receipt of the marriage of William Batten and Elizabeth Bishop.  William Pilot(?)
