TRINITY BAY MARRIAGES

This is to certify that JAMES MORRISEY, bachelor, and EMMA HISCOCK, spinster, both of Trinity, were married at St. Paul's Church, Trinity, on this twelvth day of  November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, James Morrisey and Emma Hiscock, in the presence of us, Richard Woolridge, Rebecca Morrisey, Elizabeth Morrisey, Charlotte Hiscock, William Collins, witnesses to the said marriage.

 

This is to certify that ISRAEL PITCHER, bachelor, and LOUISE CARBERRY, spinster, of Old Bonaventure, both of them, were married at St. Paul's Church, Trinity, on this seventeenth day of  November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, Israel Pitcher and Louise Carberry, in the presence of us, Thomas Pitcher, Mary Hookey, James Pitcher, Mary Short, Samel Miller,  Virginia McGrath, witnesses to the said marriage.

This marriage was solemnized between us, James (X) Pitcher and Sarah (X) Hookey, (X being their marks), in the presence of us, Samuel (X) Parrott?, Mary (X) Short, Samuel? (X) Hookey, Virginia (X) McGrath, Samuel (X) Miller, Amy (X) Miller, (X) being their marks, witnesses to the said marriage.

This is to certify that EDWARD HISCOCK, bachelor, of Trinity, and HANNAH WOODMAN, spinster, of New Harbour, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this twentieth day of  November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, Edward (X) Hiscock and Hannah (X) Woodman, (X being their marks), in the presence of us, William Edward? Cross, Edward? Buchanan, Joseph Brine Elizabeth Ash, Edward (X) Hiscock, and Elizabeth (X) Fowlow, (X) being their marks, witnesses to the said marriage.

 

This is to certify that AGUSTUS TIBBS, of Trinity, bachelor, and MARY ABBOTT,  spinster, of British Harbour, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this twenty-fourth day of  November in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, Agustus Tibbs and Mary (X) Abbott, (X being her mark), in the presence of us, Sarah Christian?, Rosa (X) Bartlett, Mary (X) Addle? Thomas (X) Tibbs, Mark (X) Hurdle?, Heber Reginald (X) Tibbs, (X) being their marks, witnesses to the said marriage.

 

This is to certify that THOMAS FOWLOW, of North Side, Trinity, bachelor, and SUSANNAH MILLER, of New Bonaventure, spinster, were married at St. Paul’s Church, Trinity, on this third day of  December in the year of our Lord one Thousand  Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

This marriage was solemnized between us, Thomas (X) Fowlow and Susannah (X) Miller, (X being their marks), in the presence of us, Thomas (X) Fowlow, Joseph (X) Miller, Ann (X) Fowlow, Philip Fowlow, Susannah (X) Fowlow, John Fowlow, and Elizabeth Fowlow, (X) being their marks, witnesses to the said marriage
