This is to certify that WILLIAM FOWLOW of Trinity, north side, widower, and MARY GUPPY of Ship Cove, spinster, were married at St. Paulís Church, Trinity, this seventh? day of December, in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-Six, by me, Benjamin Smith, Minister.

 

This marriage was solemnized between us, William Fowlow and† Mary (X) Guppy, (X being her mark), in the presence of us: John (X) Jones, Robert (X) Guppy, Thomas (X) Fowlow, Ann (X) Guppy, Elizabeth (X) Rex?? (X being their marks), witnesses to the said marriage.
