This marriage was solemnized by us, Rich’d  (X) Woolridge and Mary (X) Miller, (X) being their marks, in the presence of Geo. Skelton J.P., Present Jonathan Miller, E.J. Clinch

April 8

Married, JOHN ETHERIDGE son of  James and Amy Etheridge of Salmon Cove, and PATIENCE ASH, Widow of the late Henry Ash of Hants Harbor, both in the District of  Trinity,

 

This marriage was solemnized by us, John (X) Etheridge and Patience (X) Ash, (X) being their marks, in the presence of Geo. Skelton, J.P. and E.J. Clinch

 

April 17

Married, GEORGE CURTIS, late of ??? Newton in the County of Dorset in Great Britain, but now residing at Bonaventure in the Island of Newfoundland, and HONOUR BAILEY, daughter of David and Elizabeth Bailey of Bonaventure.

 

This marriage was solemnized by us, George Curtis and Honor Bailey, in the presence of  Geo. Skelton, J. P. and E. J. Clinch.

 

November 7

Married, GIDEON BANTON? late of Yeocrel? in the County of Somerset in Great Britain, but now residing at Silly Cove in the Island of Newfoundland and ELIZABETH, daughter of William and Jeant? GREEN of Silly Cove.

 

This marriage was solemnized by us Gideon (X) Banton and Elizabeth (X) Green, (X) being their marks, in the presence of  Geo. Skelton, J.P. and E. J. Clinch.

 

Nov. 12

Married, JOHN FINCH, son of Samuel Thos and Elizabeth Finch of Trinity in the Island of Newfoundland, and ANN, daughter of the late Samuel and of the present Elizabeth DIDDENS of the same place.

 

This marriage was solemnized by us, John T. Finch and Ann Diddens, in the presence of

Geo. Skelton, J. P., William Collings, and E. J. Clinch.
