BADCOCK - HUBLEY
Daphne and Wayne Badcock of Pasadena are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan, to Owen Hubley, son of Marilyn (Tom) MacDonald and Brian (Libby) Hubley of NS. Wedding to take place May 2009 in Halifax. Love and best wishes from your parents, family and friends.

Wayne and Pat Jones are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Mark, to Beth, daughter of Paul and Donna Riendeau of Raynham, MA. A June 2009 wedding is planned in Raynham. Congratulations from Mom, Dad, Neil and Michael.

Christine and Max Keeping are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Nadine, to Mark Malcolm, son of Karen and Malcolm Oxford. The engagement took place July 26th, 2008 at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia. Wedding plans are for August 22, 2009. Congratulations to our children.

Barb and Terry Young are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica, to Kenny Bell. The engagement took place on July 15th, 2008 while the couple is vacationing in Newfoundland. Jessica and Kenny live happily in Iqaluit with their two dogs, Codie and Riley.

WEDDINGS

BUTT / LEJA
Lloyd and Doris Butt are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Dawn Angelina to Marcus Taylor Leja, son of Gunar and Sandra Leja of St. John’s. The wedding took place July 19, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Corner Brook. Sherrie Dogurga, sister of the bride was matron of honor, other bridesmaids were Katherine Noseworthy, Michelle Fitzsimmons, and Christa Simmons, friends of the bride. Groomsmen were Tim Johnston, best man, Simon Story, Steve Gruchy, friends of the groom and Nicholas Leja, brother of the groom. Ring bearers were Ethen and Legen Butt, nephews of the bride. A dinner and dance was held at the Pepsi Centre with Dr. Sheldon Butt, brother of the bride as MC. The happy couple reside in Calgary, and will enjoy a honeymoon vacation in the Dominican Republic. Congratulations from friends and family including from Izmir, Turkey, Sherrie, Andrew, Kerem and Levent Dogurga.


40th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Jim and Jean were married at First United Church on Park Street in Corner Brook by Rev. Norman.

Congratulations to Tony and Annette Specker, who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
