Corner Brook are extremely happy to announce their engagement on June
28, 2008. An intimate fall wedding is being planned.
WEDDINGS
LODER / BLANCHARD
On June 21, 2008 a beautiful outdoor wedding joined Toni-Lee
Loder and Gregory Blanchard along with their daughter, Abigail, together in marriage. The wedding
took place in the garden of Mr. Kevin Strickland in Summerside officiated
by Rev. Malcolm Palmer followed by a dinner reception held in Gillams. The
bridal party consisted of: Abigail Blanchard (junior maid of honor and daughter
of the couple), Teri-Lynn Loder (maid of Honor and sister of the bride),
Stacy Christopher (cousin of the bride), Laura Blanchard (sister of the groom),
Heather Delaney (friend of the bride) and Kaitlyn Blanchard (niece of the
couple) as well as Paul Stone (friend of the groom), Andrew Loder (cousin
of the bride), Andrew Brake (cousin of the groom) and Murray Blanchard (uncle
of the groom). Special thanks to all who helped make our day so absolutely
amazing. Toni-Lee is the daughter of Tony and Dallas Loder of Summerside
and Gregory is the son of Archie and Betty Blanchard of Gillams.
MOORE / EDWARDS
Tonya Marie Moore became the bride of Brendan Gerard Edwards,
Jr. on June 21,
2008, at the Holy Redeemer Parish in Corner Brook, NL. The bride is the daughter
of Valerie Moore and Carly Marche of Corner Brook, NL. The groom is the son of
Brendan Sr. and Veronica Edwards of St. Lawrence, NL. The bride’s Matron of Honor
was close friend, Terri Lynn Pennell of Corner Brook and the groom’s Best Man
was his father, Brendan Edwards Sr. Reception followed that same evening at the
Glymill Inn in Corner Brook where 98 close friends and family helped the bride
and groom celebrate their special day. Tonya and Brendan currently reside in
Fort McMurray, AB, where Brendan is an Electrical Foreman for Ledcor Industrial
and Tonya is a Recreation Therapist at Rotary House Seniors Lodge. The newlyweds
are planning a tropical honeymoon over the Christmas holiday.
SIMMS / GREENHAM
Ben and Debra Simms would like to announce the recent marriage of their son
Andrew Joseph to Rochelle Chariesse Greenham, daughter of Ronald and Charlotte
Greenham. The couple was married in an outdoor ceremony on June 3 at the
Harvest Club in Kelowna, British Columbia. The groom’s brother Michael Simms
stood as best man and Ms. Julia Carr, college roommate of the bride stood
as maid of honour. The intimate wedding was followed by a reception and dance
at the Harvest Club. Rochelle and Andrew would like to thank all of those
who traveled from Newfoundland and Nova Scotia to celebrate with them and
appreciate the best wishes of those who could not.
