BAILEY, Bruce "Butch"
Born: June 14th, 1942
Passed on: October 6th, 2018

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Bruce "Butch" Bailey, at his family residence on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Those that had the great privilege to know him loved him dearly. His kind and loving spirit will be missed by many. Forever missed by his loving wife Gail nee Cooper of 58 year marriage, son Shawn, daughter Cory, son-in-law Steve, his two precious grandchildren Stephanie and Spencer, his brothers Guy and Gus (Betty), sisters Betty (Ross) and Mary, brothers-in-law Duff (Lillian) and Monty (Florence), sisters-in-law Cynthia (Anthony) and Myrtle, and his beloved dog Sally. He will be also missed by numerous nieces, nephews, who thought of him as their mentor and friend. Bruce was predeceased by his father Frank and his mother Gladys, father-in-law Herb Cooper and mother-in-law Winnie Cooper, brothers Frank, Brymer and Wallace, brothers-in-law;Herb and Don and sisters-in-law Bernie and Mercedes. Bruce touched the lives of many and will shine forever in the thoughts and prayers of those who knew and loved him. The family will be receiving family and friends on Monday, October 8th, 2018, at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday, October 9th, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 10th, at 2 pm, at The Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake, NL, with Major Pond officiating with keeping with Bruce's wishes cremation to follow and a reception to be held at the Bailey's residence follow the Funeral service. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rancie Gordon Barnes announce his passing on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 65 years. Rancie loved the great outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a hardworking carpenter and loved enjoying life. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Wanda Lee (nee Cox); sons: Brandon, Fort McMurray, Zechariah (Chelsea) and Aaron (Kassandra); grandchildren: Arabella and Ryan; father and mother-in-law Gordon and Maudie Cox; sisters: Brada (Alex Kennedy), Geneva and Betty (Bill Laing); brothers: Gerald (Rita), Darrin (Helen) and Dennis; grandparents-in-law Randolph McCarthy and Ruby Gillam; brothers-in-law: Gordon Jr. (Jeannie) and Robert (Krista); aunts: Dorothy Parsons, Trout River, Florence Bennett, Mt. Moriah and Dinah Hussey, Cox's Cove; his two dogs Jake and Jasper; special friend Henry Morgan; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. BOURGEIOS, Kathleen Anne

Kathleen Anne Bourgeois (nee Murphy)
passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 77 years. A 'townie', Kathleen was born on June 29, 1941, in St. John's, NL. She grew up on 8 Bond Street, eldest daughter of the late Nicholas and Bridget Murphy (nee Leonard). She will forever be in the hearts and stories of her loving husband, Francis; her six children: Brian, Robyn (Laurent), Lisa (Bill), Jill, Jason (Corinn), and Anne-Marie (Kevin); and her eleven grandchildren: Victor, Juliette, Oscar, Caroline, Gabrielle, Maggie, Laura, Oliver, Meaghan, Georgia, and Xavier. Kathleen will be missed by her brothers: Don and Corinne (deceased) Murphy and Paddy Murphy, as well as Francis' siblings and their spouses: Libby (deceased) and Clyde Miller, Norma and Phil (deceased) Trask, Jeannette (deceased) and Cosmos (deceased) Gaudon, Helen and Roger Goyette, and Larry and Iris (deceased) Bourgeois. Kathleen was dearly loved by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and her large circle of friends. 18 year old Kathleen came to Stephenville in 1958 to teach 'for one year'. One year turned to many, and she found herself in different schools and different grade levels, until her retirement in 1993. Over the years, 'Mrs. Bourgeois' touched the hearts and inspired the minds of her students and fellow colleagues. Beyond the walls of her classroom, she volunteered tirelessly in a variety of settings within the community and the church. Generous and thoughtful, she has always gone 'above and beyond' for her family, friends, colleagues, and community members. We would like to thank Dr. Sheila Lewis and the Palliative Care Staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for their care and compassion during Kathleen's hospitalization. The family will be receiving friends at Russells Funeral Home in Stephenville on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place at St. Stephen's Parish on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that you donate to Stephenville Community Food Bank.

CROCKER, Clifton Bursey

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clifton Crocker announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond loving memories his wife of 66 years, Pearl Crocker; his children: George (Angela), Taylor (Elaine), Randy (Sherry), Laura (Ted) Howell, Greg (Linda); 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; special niece Emma Janes and special nephew Lyle Crocker; also special lifelong friend Earl Murphy (Summerside) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Clifton was predeceased by his parents: Arthur and Emma Crocker (Trout River); parents-in-law: George and Sarah Parsons (Trout River); brothers: Howard Crocker and Tom Crocker (Trout River); sister Avril Miller (Ontario); baby son Brent (Trout River); brother-in-law John Miller (Avril) Ontario, sisters-in-law Hilda (Howard) Crocker and Bessie (Tom) Crocker. CROCKER, Emma (nee O'Quinn)

Emma; entered the world in a small settlement called South Branch, Codroy Valley NL, a place where her children enjoyed years of wonderful people and experiences. She spent her childhood there and talked of the pleasures of farming, fishing, chasing the farm animals and her favorite pastime of picking berries. Partridge berries and raspberries' being her favourite. In her early teens, she moved to Curling / Corner Brook. She continued with her education and fell in love with a guy named Ingram. Emma married and started her family at an early age and became a devoted housewife. Emma loved entertaining, cooking, baking, games night (120), her involvement at the church Women's Auxiliary and swimming. After her children grew and moved on she was excited to get a job at the Western Memorial Hospital and get her drivers' license.
The world lost a big heart and Heaven gained a beautiful soul, Emma (nee O'Quinn) Crocker of 86 years who passed away at the WMRH Palliative and End of Life Care Unit. Rest my angel be at peace and let your soul fly free. Emma left to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of (70 years) Ingram who then passed on October 14, 2018; sons: Andrew (Julia), Brooks, Ab, Lawrence (Gail), Edmonton, Ab, Gary (Judy), Stettler, Ab, Edward (Debbie) Dartmouth, NS; Daughter: Jocelyn Gardner (Darryl), Corner Brook; her step-son (ice cream buddy) Arthur (Roslyn) Bennett, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Andrew, Dana, Deanna, Anita, Treena, Jason, Justin, Edward, Megan, Adam, Sarah, Hayley, Natasha and Elizabeth-Ann, 25 great-grandchildren 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 brothers: James O'Quinn, Windsor, Ont. and Alphonso (Patricia) O'Quinn, Oshawa, Ont.; 4 sisters: Regina (Stanley-deceased) Brake, Corner Brook, Joan (Gordon-deceased) Galpin, Windsor, Ont., Theresa (Andrew-deceased) Doxtator, Windsor, Ont. and Ann (Sandy) Dunphy, Scarborough, Ont.; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by infant son, daughter Anita Drusilla, son Paul, her parents Ralph and Mary O'Quinn, brothers; Joseph (Ruth Ann) O'Quinn and Peter (deceased) (Pauline) O'Quinn and sister Margaret (Daniel-deceased) O'Keefe.
Ingram; entered the world in a small fishing village of Trout River NL. He spent his free time hunting and fishing with his father and at the age of 14 started working as a labourer on the docks in Corner Brook. He eventually worked at Bowater Pulp and Paper Mill as a paper maker and machine operator until retirement. Ingram worked his off time at the White House in Corner Brook chaperoning dances where it is believed he met his wife Emma. Ingram was a strong believer of hard work and provider of his family. He had many enjoyable moments teaching his boys to hunt and fish from the cabin on the South Branch River.
Ingram of 91 years passed away peacefully at WMRH 4th floor North LTC. Predeceased by his loving wife Emma of (70 years) on September 28, 2018. Together in eternal life! Ingram leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; sons: Arthur (Roslyn) Bennett, Corner Brook, Andrew (Julia), Gary (Judy), Lawrence (Gail), all in Alberta and Edward (Debbie), NS; Jocelyn (Darryl) Gardner, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Natasha, Elizabeth-Ann, Andrew, Dana, Deanna, Anita, Treena, Jason, Justin, Edward, Megan, Adam, Sarah, Hayley, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sister: Marilyn (Elis deceased) Avery; brother: David (Sheila) Crocker; plus a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents: Andrew and Laura Crocker; infant son (unnamed), daughter Anita Drusilla, son: Paul; brothers: Leonard (Margaret), Jake (Theresa), Aubrey; and sister: Vernetta (Douglas) McKenna.
Cremation and burial has taken place.

CROCKER, Michael L.
Born: March 17th, 1956
Passed on: October 4th, 2018

On a quiet, beautiful Fall evening surrounded by his loving family, Michael Lance Crocker passed peacefully from his earthly home to his heavenly home. Mike was born March 17, 1956 to Donald and Mary Crocker and grew up in the community of Cormack. After graduation from Elwood Regional High School, Mike continued his post-secondary education at Memorial University in St. John's. Mike took his first teaching position in the small community of Sops Arm but after just one year, the green fields of his homeland calling, he moved back to Cormack, entered the Dairy Industry and for the next 23 years successfully owned and operated Twin Acre Farms Ltd. Then in 2011 Mike took on a much different but also rewarding job as Co-owner and Manager of Deer Lake Ambulance Ltd. On August 14, 1981 Mike married the love of his life, his soulmate and best friend, Pauline. Their lives were complete on November 14, 1984 when they welcomed their first born, Julie and then September 16, 1991 their son Charles, and those children were the absolute greatest joys of Mike's life. Leaving to mourn with the most precious memories, his loving wife of 37 years, Pauline and his adored children, Julie (Adam) Kluchka and Charles, sisters Hazel Crocker, Josie (Anthony) Alexander, and Donna Chaulk, sisters-in-law, Joyce (Kevin) Rumbolt, Olive (Gary) Moxam, Lona Haines, Elaine (Paul) Neville, Glenda (Dave) Oake, Mae Curlew and brother-in-law, Gary (Brenda) Humby, special nieces and nephews, Tanya, Donald, Sarah, Bruce, Jayne and Robyn, Craig, Peter, Trevor, Cory, Melanie, Jamie, Luke, Geoff, Gary, Kimberly and Natalie, also Dean, Glenn, Dereck and Sheldon. Also leaving to mourn are many close friends and relatives. DOLLARD, Joseph Richard

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Richard Dollard announce his passing at his residence in Stephenville on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the age of 77. He leaves to mourn Rosa, his wife of 52 years, three wonderful daughters; Cheryl (Currie Reid) in Ottawa; Joelle (Troy Mason) in Halifax and Leanne (Craig Courturier) in Ottawa; five precious grandchildren: Amelia, Curtis, Meredith, Carson and Elliot; one brother, Jimmy of St. Georges; 4 sisters; Marie (Ben Cooper) of Corner Brook; Tela Dollard (late Bob Clouter) of St. Georges; Patsy Linthorne of St. George's; and Sue (Ed Hickey) of St. John's; sisters-in-law, Kay Dollard of Stephenville Crossing; Marquerite White (Cornwall, Ontario) Geneva (Abe Coles) of St. John's; Valda Bourgeois of Stephenville; Carlotta (Charles Fennemore) of Grand Falls; Chris (Paul Wilson) of St. John's; brother-in-law, Kirk (Joanne) White of St. John's; many nieces and nephews on the Dollard and White sides of the family and his Friend Brendan White. FREEMAN, Eva Elizabeth (nee Kawaja)
Born: January 31st, 1940
Passed on: October 2nd, 2018

Passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on October 2, 2018. Predeceased by parents Elias and Suzanne Kawaja of Corner Brook, and brothers Wayne and Graham. Leaving with loving memories are children Blair (Jane Langford) and Susan (Rick Tiller); beloved grandchildren Michael and Stephen Tiller, and Henry and Charlotte Freeman; brothers Monty, David (Thelma), and Charles; sister-in-law Ruth Kawaja; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. After working for Memorial University in Corner Brook and St. John's for many years, Eva took an early retirement in the mid-1990s to dedicate her time to her cherished grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Chancellor Park for their professionalism and care of Mom. Your kindness and compassion shown to Mom and our family will never be forgotten. Following Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Dr. Wayne Goudie announce his passing on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Stephanie Goudie (Lori Warmington); mother of his children Mary Janes; grandchildren: Meadow Wells-Goudie, Lillah Warmington; brother Carl (Ruth) Goudie; sister-in-law Cindy Goudie LaPolla; brother-in-law Norman Tucker; nieces and nephews: Jordan, Megan, Mandy, Gillian, Glen, Greg, Craig, James, Jennifer and other family and friends. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dearest mother Regina (Jean) Gullage on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Sylvia (Leonard) Pashley, of Port Coquitlam, BC, Patricia (Gerald) White of Bonne Bay Pond, Barbara (George) Mullett of Corner Brook and son Perry (Georgina) of Halfway Point; 10 grandchildren: Jamie, Mark, Michelle, Leonard, Dora, Andrew, Christopher, Samantha, Ryan and Nicholas; 13 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Darlene Hellier (Allan), Fred, Enid Hellier (Robert) and Don; special friend Mildred Lockyer and family; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Phyllis and Rea Hellier; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Mona Joan Piercey nee: (Parsons) on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the age of 80. She passed peacefully away surrounded by her family in the Palliative Care Unit in Western Memorial Regional Hospital, after a courageous 3½ year battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Gordon, April, 1994. Leaving behind with loving memories are her four daughters, Angela Piercey (Steve Atkinson), Lisa Blanchard (Todd), Ruby Brake (Brian), Mary Murrin (Rick), her furry and loyal friend Bailey, six precious grandchildren, Caitlin Piercey (Dylan Poole), Robin Blanchard (Justin Lewis), Christopher Blanchard, Scott Brake (Candace Kendall), Steven Brake, Devon Murrin, two great-grandchildren Candace and Jackson, sister, Evelyn (Ettie) Stratton, Curling, sister-in-law Doris Parsons, Summerside, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her cabin buddies Shirley and George Nichols. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Julia Parsons, brothers, sisters and in-laws: Richard Parsons (Gwennie), Gilbert Parsons, Cyril Parsons, Verdie Harris (Ches), Jane Parsons, Dorothy Christopher (Raymond), Doreen Anderson (Reg), Jim Piercey, Marie Piercey. Mom was a very strong and courageous lady, nothing was ever to much for her to take on and complete. She approached her cancer diagnosis with the same tenacity, touching the hearts and raising the spirits of friends at the chemo unit, continuing to live as if nothing was wrong. Her cabin & her friends at Bonne Bay Pond were her weekend refuge, she loved the time she spent there. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be sorely missed. In keeping with her wish's cremation has taken place. We would like to say thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of 3B, 4A, Chemo Unit and Palliative Care. Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks. The funeral service will be held Monday, October 29th at 10:00 am from Fillatre's Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Ed Terry officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ivy May Salyzyn (nee Watton). Ivy passed away peacefully at the QEII Hospital, in Halifax, NS on Friday October 5, 2018, in her 83rd year. Ivy was a loving and devoted mother to Deborah and George, and a cherished and beloved "Baba" to Christian, Hayley, Parker and Cameron; her grandchildren were the loves of her life. Ivy was thought of as a kind and gentle soul by all who knew her, especially her family, friends (particularly her longtime friends Maisie Warford and Cynthia Parsons) and several special neighbours. As a family, we are eternally grateful for the friendship of Elaine and Ivan Kendell and Melvin and Florence Lily who were an unwavering support for Ivy. We cannot thank you enough. Ivy is survived by her children Deborah (Grant) and George (Sonya), her grandchildren Christian (Megan), Hayley (Jordan), Parker and Cameron, her sisters-in-law Mary (Jackson), Elaine (Watton) and Mercedes (Watton) and numerous nieces and nephews. Ivy was predeceased by George, her loving husband of 55 years. Ivy and George built a beautiful life together. We take great comfort in knowing they are together again. She was also predeceased by her parents Harriet (Roberts) and Hubert Watton, and her sisters Eileen and Lenora, and brothers Lloyd, Melvin, Otto, Robert and Gordon. Ivy was the last of the Watton siblings. Cremation has taken place. SHEARS, Benjamin Theodore

Benjamin Theodore passed peacefully away in his home in Rocky Harbour lovingly surrounded with his family on October 26th, 2018 in his 85th year. He will be lovingly remembered by Georgina, his wife of 58 years, his daughter Dorcas, son-in-law Valeri Chudinov; special mother-in-law Blanche Watts; his siblings: Pauline Payne, Floyd (Olga), Tom (Bonnie), Ella (Frank) Penney; sisters-in-law: Blanche Shears, Marie Shears, Sandra (John) Bull; brothers-in-law: David (Sharon) Watts, Rod (Gladys) Watts and Robert (Mary) Watts. Ben touched the lives of many and will also be affectionately remembered by his nieces and nephews, a large circle of family and friends, and his furry companion, Maggie. Ben is predeceased by his parents Dorcas May and James Shears, his brothers: James and John; sisters: Mary Loveys and Joan White; father-in-law Thomas Watts; brothers-in-law: Rendell Snow, Jack White and Alwin Loveys; sister-in-law Betty Shears. Ben was always a reliable volunteer giving freely of his time and talents to his community and his church. He loved his garden and his gardening talents were well known and always in evidence at his family home. Of all the things in life that Benjamin enjoyed, the focus and foundation of his contentment was his love of family and friends. He will be forever cherished and remembered for his love, thoughtfulness and generosity. Our family is so thankful for the years we have shared with him. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 7-9 pm and Sunday, October 28th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Rocky Harbour from where the Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29th at 2 pm with The Most Rev. Percy Coffin officiating. Interment to follow at St. Matthews Anglican Church Cemetery. SHEARS, Rosetta Vera (Rosie) (nee Pittman)

It is with great sadness that the families of Rosetta Vera (Rosie) Shears announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Monday, October 29th, 2018, at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children Linda Russell, Gary (Nora), and Anne Payne (Craig), her grandchildren Bryan Russell (Cathy), Peter Russell (Crystal), Christian Shears (Suzanne), Christopher Shears (Joanne), Barbara (Sean), Sam, and Alex Payne, her great-grandchildren Rebecca Webber (James), Allannah, and Joseph Russell, Sidne, Morgan, Jolina Shears, Nicholas and Noah Thistle, and Eric Russell, great-great-grandson Edward Webber, her brother-in-law Lewis Shears, sisters-in-law Muriel Shears, and Elizabeth Critch. Rosie was predeceased by her husband Sidney Morgan Shears, her parents James and Margaret Pittman, her sisters Blanche (Alfred) Pollett, Dottie (Albert) Watts, Olive (George) Cullihall, Annie (Harvey) Coveyduck, and Sara Pittman. She also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Matthews Anglican Church in Rocky Hr, NL, on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, November 1st, 2018, at 2 pm, with Rt Bishop Coffin officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Rocky Hr, NL. Donations can be made to the St. Matthews Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or The Bonne Bay Health Centre Auxiliary in Rosie's memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL. SHEPPARD, Linda Mary (nee Byrne)

The family of Linda Mary Sheppard would like to announce her peaceful passing surrounded by her family and friends at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Hospital on October 27th, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn her husband Derek, son Derek Jeffrey (Krista), and the loves of her life her four grandchildren Colin, Olivia, Neil, and Anna. They made her life complete. Survived by her siblings Carol (Frank), John (Patsy), Rod (Betty), Brian (Doreen), Terry (Donna), Ken (Darlene), Mike (Shelia), George, Cathy (Roy), Lisa (Philip), Paula (Carey); mother-in-law Marguerite; brothers-in-law George (Marjorie), Alfred, Scott (Nancy); aunt Foley Power, as well as her nephews, nieces and cousins. Linda also leaves behind a large circle of friends who were always there for her, Nada, Gloria, Donna, Sandra, Bernice, Leona, Joy, Maureen and many others. They always called, texted or visited every day after she became ill no matter where in the world they were. Special mention to her best friend Christina Penney who for 45 years was there for her every day of her life. She was predeceased by her father and mother George and Elizabeth Byrne and father-in-law Alfred C Sheppard. As per Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home at 4 St. Marks Avenue from 2-4 pm and from 7-9 pm on Monday, October 29, 2018. Interment will take place at the Anglican Cemetery in Mount Patricia at a later date. No flowers on request, donations in her name may be left to the Western Memorial Hospital Cancer Center. Linda worked her whole career at Royal Trust and Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union until she retired. She was also very active serving on various associations in Corner Brook and also served on the board of directors of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro. The family would like to thank the care givers who helped her through her illness. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten, Dr. Amjad Al-Zubaidy and Denise, Dr. Bubtana, Dr. Lafferty, Dr. Dunne and the staff at Western Memorial Hospital 3A and the Palliative Care Unit, but she would especially like to thank everyone at the Western Memorial Cancer Clinic. Dr. Healey, Dr. McCarthy and all the nurses and staff who were so wonderful to her. Last but not least she would especially like to thank Dr. Amanda Welsh with whom she formed a special bond. It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Jeanette Simmonds announce her passing after a brief illness. She leaves to mourn her only child Steve (Corrina), her grandchildren Kimberly Brake (Chris) and Tim (Natacha) Simmonds, three great-grandchildren Nicole, Ryan and Hannah whom she adored. Also leaving to mourn brothers Jim Wells, David (Debbie) Wells, Wayne (Kathleen) Wells and Eugene (Emma) Wells, and sister-in-law Agnes Wells. As well as many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Predeceased by her husband Fred (2008), her Mom Violet Wells (2007), sister Joan Hull (2008), brother Jack Wells (2016), brother-in-law Fred Hull (2017) and precious great-grandchild Kayley (2009). Cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 at 2 pm from the Country Haven Chapel with Rev. Graham Cook officiating. It is with mixed emotions that we share the news of the passing of our dear father and grandfather Ellis Tiller, 70 years on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Elizabeth Centre. Dad is now reunited back with our mom Joan. He was our much loved father who will be missed by Sandra (Mike) and Jeff (Nat). Ellis was happiest being Grandpa to his four grandchildren Matthew, Mark, Fred and Hazel. Born in Corner Brook, NL he was the son of the late Frederick and Matilda (nee Hunt) Tiller. Dear brother of Allister (Audrey), Stuart (Mildred), June Harding (Cecil), Blanche Rose (George), Raymond (predeceased) and Jane Vaters (predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Ellis retired from INCO in 2000 after 30 years of dedicated service. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services. Family and friends are welcome to drop by the family home on Jeanne D'Arc Street, Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. to share your stories as we say our final goodbyes to Dad. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn May Webb (née Burt) announce her passing on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 63 years Claude Webb; children: Elaine (Paul) Whelan, Pasadena, Greg (Fiona) Webb, Pasadena and Janice (Scott) Gaudet, Stephenville; grandchildren: Marc (Melanie) Whelan, Ian (Maryam) Whelan, Gregory (Kayla) Whelan, Bruce (Amanda) Webb, Jana (Drew) Webb and Evelyn "Joy" (Andy) Webb; great-grandchildren: William and Matthew Whelan and Willow Webb; sister Rose Whiteway; brother Garland Burt; sisters-in-law: Ivena Burt and Audrey Burt; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jabez and Ivy Burt, sisters Ruby (Wallace) Pryor and Marjorie (David) Jeans, brothers Reginald and Doyle Burt, sister-in-law Doris Burt and brother-in-law Titus Whiteway. It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late David Percy Wells announce his passing on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 80 years. Dave was well known for his work as an Ironworker and member of the Ironworkers 764, St. John's, NL. Dave was committed to his profession. He met a large circle of friends through his work which would last a lifetime. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Margaret (nee Christopher) of 58 years; children: Barbara Ann (Gordon Ellsworth), Edward (Rose), Kimberley of Fort Nelson, B.C, Donna of Oshawa, ON, Douglas, Lawrence, Melvin (Donna), Oshawa, ON, Regina, Kingston, ON, Jeffery (Kelley), Clinton (Amanda), and Michelle (Dwayne); grandchildren: Mark, Roger, Jennifer, Robyn, Kayla, Dwayne, Samantha, Natasha, Ryan, Cody, Amber, Paige, Markus, Lindsey, Matthew and Melissa; great-grandchildren: Emily, Lexie, Easton, James, Nicole, Madison, Sophia, Megan and Clair; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dave was predeceased at a young age by his parents Edward and Dorothy Wells. He was fortunate in being raised by his grandparents John and Myra Wheeler which followed a wonderful circle of family including aunts, uncles, Frank, Max, Murdock, Percy, Gusie, Jean, Horse, and his beautiful sisters Ruby House - predeceased, Edward, Regina Kennedy (Bernie) - predeceased. Dave will be missed by his brother Albert (Hilda) Wheeler. Special mention, Kay Christopher, Fred Wheeler, and Kirby Brake. A special thank you to Kelley and Michelle for the daily visits. The family wishes to thank the Drs and staff at 3A WMRH. At David's request cremation has taken place. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ada "June" Wheeler announce her passing on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 Years. She passed away peacefully with love from her children and family members who were by her side. She will be forever remembered and loved by her children: Gail (Gerald) Morgan, Daphne (Melvin) Park, William Ross (Liz) Wheeler, Susan (Frank) Hodder, and Barry (Lisa) Wheeler; grandchildren: Fred, Jody, Trevor, Shane, Kristy, Erica, Evan and Kendra; her beloved great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sisters: Doris Parsons, and Lillian Brake, brothers: Jim, Cliff, Wallace, Austin, and Jack Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Wheeler; sister, Olive Penney; brothers: Fred, Aulden, and Loren Dick Taylor.
