Colleen Anne - 40, Cole Harbour, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit, VG Site, QEII, on Sunday, October 22, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 3, 1966, in Corner Brook, N.L., she was the daughter of Kevin and Emily (Compagnon) Cooper, Stephenville, N.L. On completion of college in St. John's, N.L., Colleen came to Nova Scotia where she was employed with Karuba Clothing. She moved on to Sportelle and then as District Manager with Weekend Edition and in recent years was employed as manager of Addition-Elle in Mic Mac Mall. She made a positive, lasting impression on anyone she met and had built a large clientele who came specifically to shop from her. The void she has left can never be filled and she'll be missed by the hundreds of people whose lives she touched. She leaves to mourn her loving husband, Andrew "Nick"; sons, Tyler (14) and Cameron (7); brother, Gary (Angela) Cooper, Cole Harbour; in-laws, Cliff and Velma Nickerson, Oromocto, N.B.; brothers-in-law, Cliff (Brenda), Geary, N.B.; Kevin (Dianne), Ottawa, Ont.; Tim (Lorraine), Calgary, Alta.; Mark (Julie), Calgary, Alta.; sisters-in-law, Wendy Nickerson, Oromocto, N.B., and Deb Nickerson, Calgary, Alta.; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Compagnon, Stephenville, NL.; 13 nephews and nieces who will miss "Auntie Colleen"; many aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada and the United States.
