It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernice
House announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the
Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Thursday,
September 29th, 2005, in her 56th year.
She will be sadly missed by her loving family: her husband, Stewart,
her children: Calvin House of Daniel's Hr., Kim Caines (John Elliott)
of Miramachi, New Brunswick, Heather (Mrs. Fred Bell) of Corner Brook,
Lisa (Mrs. John Hann) of Woody Point, Lorna House and Paula House (Leslie
Brophy) both of Daniel's Hr., her eight grandchildren: Jenna Caines,
Kaya Bell, April Hann, Natasha Caines, Kristina Bell, Dylan House, Matthew
House, and Christie Hann, her great granddaughter Jade House, her mother
Mrs. Mary Alice Brown of Cow Head, her brothers and sisters Hughena (Frazer
Bennett) of Cow Head, Margaret (Mrs. Bradley House) of Daniel's Hr.,
Adrain Brown of Corner Brook and Larry his wife Myrna Brown of Cow Head,
her father-in-law Hiram House of Daniel's Hr., Bernice was predeceased
by her father Frederick Brown, her brother Gary Brown, and her mother-in-law
Beatrice House. Cremation took place on Friday, September 30th,
2005. The family will be receiving family and friends on Saturday, October
1st, 2005 at the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniel's Hr.,
from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, October 2nd, 2005 at 3 p.m. with
Rev. James Pratt and Rev. House officiating with the interment to follow
at the church cemetery. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Parsons
Funeral Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake.

McMurray on Tuesday, September 28, 2005 at the age of

Bellows); daughter, Kelly (Bill) Hann; son, Kenny (Kim) O'Dell; grandchildren
Renee Hann, Tyler O'Dell, and Michael O'Dell; brothers: Fred (Cathy),
Jerome (Lucy), Luke (Winnie); sister, Sheila (Larry) House. He is predeceased
by his parents: Cyril and Minnie O'Dell, brothers: Clarence, Leo and

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Garrett
Blanchard announce his passing at his family residence on Thursday,
September 29th, 2005 in his 42nd year.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Irene (nee House), his son
Dain (Lyric), mother Amy Blanchard, five brothers: Hedley (Lorraine),
Winston, Edgar, all of Parsons Pond, Clifford of Brampton, three sisters
Susie (Louis) Andrews of Corner Brook, Geraldine Gagne of Bishop Falls,
Leah (Bruce) Biggin of Daniel's Harbour, his mother-in-law Mona House,
his father-in-law Ernest Verge, sisters-in-law Florence Blanchard of
Parsons Pond, Madeline (Derm) Bavis, Theresa (Derrick) Payne. also a
large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased
by his father Roland Blanchard, brother Stanley, brother-in-law Albert
Gagne and sister-in-law Olive. Visitation will take place from the Anglican
Church in Parsons Pond today Saturday and Sunday from where the funeral
service will take place on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pratt officiating.
Interment to follow at the family plot. Funeral arrangements were entrusted

2005 at the age of 60, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Stallwood and Andrew North and her mother-in-law Marion North. Also leaving

Mary Gamberg (Patty). Predeceased by her son Fred (1995), parents
Leo Healey (1951) and Nora Healey-Keegan (1993), by her brother Gerry
(1941) and brother-in-law Alex Gushue (2000). Leaving to mourn her loving
husband of 40 years Gerard (Jed) Gamberg; her daughter Aileen O'Keefe
(Ed) of Halifax; sisters: Maureen Greene and Rosemary Healey-Keegan of
St. John's, NL, Sheila Gushue of Corner Brook, NL; and brother Kevin
Healey of Iriquois Falls, ON; sisters-in-law Kay Walsh and Mary Gamberg
of St. John's; also many loving and beloved nieces, nephews, cousins,
friends and many colleagues in the nursing profession. Patty graduated
from St. Clare's School of Nursing in 1961. She nursed at St. Clare's
Mercy Hospital, Janeway Children's Hospital, the American Air Force Base
Hospital in Stephenville, the Stephenville Cottage Hospital, Western
Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook and concluded her career as Nursing Supervisor
at St. Patrick's Mercy Home, St. John's, NL for many years. Patty will
be resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-5 and
7-10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday,
October 6, 2005 from the Parish of St. Pius X, Smithville Crescent at

With great sadness Frank's family announce his sudden passing at his
home in Curling. Frank was a talented artist, skilled carpenter and avid
outdoorsman. He held a special place in his heart for children and animals.
In his younger years he was a star pitcher in Corner Brook's fast-pitch
softball league. Left to lament are: his mother, Lorraine Taylor, sisters
Lynnette Taylor, Allison Taylor, Kelly Taylor-Hulan (Kerry) all of Corner
Brook, Debbie Taylor (Nick White) of Stephenville and sister-in-law Lola
Taylor, also of Corner Brook; brothers: Rod Taylor (Susan) of Labrador
City, Blaine Taylor of Calgary; four nieces, four nephews, four great
nephews and one great-niece. Frank also left a very large circle of friends.
Frank was predeceased by his infant son Gabriel (1996); brother Colin
(2001); brother Paul (1986); father Frank (1977); and sister Elizabeth
(1954). Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling
Street, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 6th. A
memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Sean

Vivian. Gerald joined the Canadian Armed Forces in
1977 and completed 22 years of service including tours in Germany and Persian
Gulf War. Upon completion of military service he was employed at Air Nova for
the past six years. Gerald was a devoted family man who enjoyed cooking, hunting,
playing cards and darts. He was a gentle loving man who will be missed by all

Thursday, October 27th, 2005, in her 89th year. Mom Cull will be sadly missed by her loving family: Her four
daughters: Maisie (Reuben) Ginn of Deer Lake, Marjorie (Gordon) Oxford,
Minetta (Eric) Reid, both of Reidville, Iona (special friend Ross)
of Deer Lake; one son Jack (Mary) Cull of Deer Lake; 12 grandchildren;
24 great-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; one very special
grandchild Cory; one sister Maisie of St. John's; her sisters-in-law
Nellie (Harvey) King of Corner Brook and Violet Goodyear of Carmenville
and Lorraine Cull of Carmenville. Also a large circle of relatives
and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alberta in 1990, two
sisters Audrey and Olive. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral
Home, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and
Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday
at 2:30 p.m. from St. Paul's United Church with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell
officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road.
