WEDDING

WEST / SMITH
Today I married my best friend
United forever in love and friendship.

On July 30, 2005 a beautiful wedding took place between Stephen Reginald West, son of Roslynn and Herman West, of Corner Brook, NL and Shelley Lynn Smith, daughter of Linda and Dale Foster and Steven Smith of Woodstock, NB. The ceremony took place outside on The University of New Brunswick campus where the happy couple first met, and was performed by Pastor Andrew Hochey. The bridal party consisted of friends of the bride and groom and included Constance Bishop. Maid of Honor, and Bridesmaids Stacey Serrano and Kristi Velthuizen. The Best Man was Neal Burry and the Groomsmen were Robert Matthews and Chris Wellman. Special singing was performed by Krista West, sister of the groom, and Herman West, father of the groom, and a special reading was done by Holly Pimlott. A lovely reception was held at the Fredericton Inn, and in the unfortunate absence of Darlene Marche, sister of the groom, Master of Ceremonies duties were wonderfully performed by Neal Burry and Robert  Matthews. Following their wedding the couple spent two nights at the Bear Trail Couples Resort in Whitney Ontario, and a honeymoon in Mexico is being planned for later this year. Stephen and Shelley both reside and work in Ottawa, where Stephen is an economist with Statistics Canada and Shelley is a registered nurse at the Ottawa General Hospital.
Congratulations and best wishes are extended from family and friends.
