his passing on Friday, May 30th, 2008 at
Carmelite House Nursing Home in Grand Falls - Windsor at the age of 80
years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Bernice,
mother Gladys, children: Sylvia Wilton, Frances (Greg) McDonald, Frank
(Phyllis), Keith (Karen) all of Deer Lake, Gordon (Cavelle), Grand Falls-Windsor,

(Cheryl), Halifax, NS and Ian (Monica), Fort McMurray, Alb; 25 grandchildren
and 16 great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers: Mary Bailey, Betty
(Ross) Perry, Gus (Betty), Guy and Bruce (Gaye), brother-in-law William
(Audrey) Lafosse, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Stephanie,
father Frank E. Sr., brothers Gerald and Wallace, brother-in-law Ronald

Edward (Ned) Bouzan passed away peacefully at the Bay St. George
Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, May
7, 2008 at
the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances (Cheek);
brothers: Gregory and Jack Bouzan; Fred Wells and wife, Jane; and sister,
Alice (Wells) Wiscombe. Leaving to mourn, sisters: Vera Shomon, Norfolk,
VA, Marion Newhook (Ed), St. John’s, Ruth Rankin, Charleston, SC,
Mary Bartlett, Halifax, NS and Lillian Aszmus, Soldotma, Alaska; sister-in-law,

Loder (Karen) and Brad Loder (Cindy) all of Summerside. Grandchildren:

and grandmother, her life circled around her family and they around her.

ACW and was one of the founding leaders of the 4-H club in Summerside.

(Caines) Murdoch, Deer Lake announce the death of their loving
wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Lillian passed away at Western
Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday,
May 7th, 2008 at the age of 79 with
her family by her side. Lillian was truly devoted to her family and leaves
to mourn many who will cherish memories of time shared with her. Included
in this family are her husband of 59 years, John, children Alec (Terri),
Kingston, ON, Diane, Grand Falls-Windsor, Heather Perry (Tony), Antigoinish,
NS, Bill (Judy), Deer Lake and Allison Peyton (Grant), Grand Falls -
Windsor; grandchildren Heather Samms, Ian Murdoch, Melanie Marchand,

John and half sister Eva. Lillian’s family far outstretched those
listed above, however, as she was loyal and committed to many groups
within the communities she was part of throughout her life. As an active
member of several church groups, Gideons International, Girl Guides of
Canada, Golden Years Fellowship, Lillian’s passion for the causes
she believed in matched the vibrant affection she held for her family.

Squires announce her passing at the Elizabeth Bruyere Palliative
Care Hospital, Ottawa, Ontario on May 30, 2008 at the
age of 74 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Joseph (Jacqueline)
Squires of Orleans, Ontario, Timothy (Alice Jean) Squires of Barrie, Ontario,
two daughters: Jane Squires (husband, Oleg Kabanov) of Montreal, Quebec,
Susan Squires (husband, William White) of St. John’s, NL, one brother,
Hubert Murl (Eleanor) Chafe of Perth, Ontario, grandchildren: Keirston,
Athen, Athena, Ashton, William and Charlotte Squires, as well as a large
circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr.
William Gerald Squires and her parents, Isabel Maud Yabsley (St. John’s,
NL) and Hugh Chafe (Goulds, NL). Visitation will take place from 12-1 p.m.
on Thursday, June 5th at the Anglican Church of the Epiphany,
Ogilvy Road, Ottawa, Ontario with Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
Her remains will then be forwarded to Stephenville, NL for interment. Interment
will take place on Sunday, June 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Anglican Section,
Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville, NL next to
her loving husband, Dr. William Gerald Squires. As expressions of sympathy,

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Stagg announce
his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Friday May

age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Elizabeth,
his two daughters; Shirley (Sten) Faines in Norway and Sharon (Alf) Sjoen
in Stephenville. He also leaves with fond memories his three brothers;
Art (Annie) and Albert (Linda) both in Grand Falls- Windsor and Raymond

(Don) Parsons and Madeline (Claude) Willis both in Dover, Ivy (Winston)
Squires and Glenda Firmage both in Eastport, his five grandchildren;
Sonja, Terje, Ingrid, Monique and Svein, his five great grandchildren,
Andrea, Stina, Julia, Nathalia, and Taylor along with a large circle
of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and
Violet, his brother Thomas and sisters Sadie and Marie. Funeral services

Sadly, we announce the passing of Peter at the Palliative Care Unit in
the Burnaby Hospital on Tuesday May 27, 2008. He is fondly remembered
by his wife Donna, sons Joe and Clay, daughter Kelly and their mother
Pat. He is predeceased by father Neil, survived by his mother Mairin,
sisters Alison (Michael) Margaret (Lou), brothers Neil (Leslie) and Graham
(Stephanie) and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held
on Thursday June 5, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at
3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, B.C followed by refreshments in the tea

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Laurie White acknowledge
her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on May
14, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by her loving
family, she passed peacefully at the age of 52 years. Laurie served the
general public in the Stephenville area for more than 25 years. Known
to many as ‘Laurie from Delaney’s’, she will be sadly
missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Laurie leaves to
mourn her loving husband, Bruce; two children: Jason (Robin) McCann of
St. John’s, Carla (Rob) Belliveau of Stephenville and three precious
grandchildren: Anthony, Sarah and Noah. With fond and loving memories,
she leaves to mourn: her mother, Agatha White of Ship Cove; six sisters:
Sherry, Ruth, Corena, Odelia, Linda and Dawn; five brothers: Eugene,
Chris, Vince, Tony and Neil, as well as a large circle of loyal and dedicated
friends and extended family too numerous to mention. Cremation has taken
place and the family will be receiving visitors at Russell’s Funeral
