It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jeffrey R. Clarke announce his peaceful passing after his courageous battle with cancer at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the age of 40 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving partner Linda and his parents, Ross and Betty Clarke of Lewisporte, one brother, Shawn (Kim) Clarke of Courtice, Ontario and grandfather, Earl Whalen of Western Bay, aunts: Betty (Bill) Collins of Paradise, Maxine Gregory Lane of Grand Falls-Windsor, Dorothy (Bill) Crummey of Western Bay, Greta (Dave) Lilly of Paradise, uncles: Boyd (Marie) Whalen of Western Bay, Gerald (Julie) Clarke of Norland, Ontario, Roland (Jean) Clarke of Oshawa, Ontario and nephews: Dylan and Nolan Clarke and the Peterson family (Peggy and Judy) and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother Whalen, grandmother and grandfather Clarke, uncle Sterling Clarke. She will be sadly missed by six sons: Curtis (Geraldine) Tourout, Randy Tourout, all of Piccadilly, Ralph Jr. (Linda) Tourout of Prince Edward Island, Leroy (Judy) Tourout, Gary (Vicky) Tourout, Danny (Linda) Tourout, all of Manitouwadge, Ontario and four daughters: Madonna Hynes of Port au Port, Dale (Tony) Gaspar, Lisa Jomphe, all of Manitouwadge, Ontario, Marty (Ricky) Formanger of Piccadilly and three brothers: Howard Gale, Michael Jr. (Theresa) Gale, Bertrum (Lillian) Gale, all of Piccadilly and two sisters: Ethel Tourout of Piccadilly, Margaret Jason of Stephenville; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Irvine and Pearl Park are celebrating their 65th anniversary today.
The pair were married at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Curling April
15, 1940.
The Parks, both 84-years-old, still attend church and family functions. The
Parks have one daughter, Grace, who is married to Reg Reader. The happy couple
have four sons, William and his wife Millicent, Irvine Jr. and his wife Yvonne,
Clarence and his wife Judy, all residing in Cox's Cove and son Elvis and his
wife Mary Ann who are living in Corner Brook. The Park's son Samuel died in
1966. The Parks have 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great
grandchild. Irvine and Pearl are set to celebrate their anniversary with
a supper at St. Nicholas' Anglican Church basement in Cox's Cove at 4 p.m.
Sunday. The dinner will be followed by a church service.

In her youth living in Newfoundland she was very active in theatre and

a church organist in Western Newfoundland and she taught piano for many

Foster Parents Association. She is survived by her husband, Henry Sauer,

Van Zealand (John) of Campbellton, NB, son, Derek Sauer (Lois) of Ajax,
ON, a former son-in-law, Reg Smith of Moncton, eleven grandchildren,

Brake announce her passing on April 21, 2005 at the Bonne Bay Health Center in
Norris Point. Daphne ended her long battle with cancer and is survived

She is survived by mother, Helen Sparkes and predeceased by her father,

is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who showed endless
support and care through her illness and held a special place in her heart.

Chesley was predeceased by his daughter Lynne O'Brien. The funeral service
will be held at the Humber United Church, Clarence Street, Reverend Patricia
Melindy officiating at a time to be announced. Friends may visit Fillatre's
Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9. As expressions
of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humber United

Bertha and Cecil Rioux are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter
Shallon to Wade Lucas, son of Martha and Cornelius Lucas, both of Stephenville
Crossing. The couple were married on April 2, 2005 at a quiet ceremony in Niagara
Falls, Ontario. Shallon and Wade currently work and reside in Newmarket, Ontario.
