"Remember me with smiles not tears,
For all the joy through the years,
Don't dwell on thoughts
that cause you pain,
We'll see each other again.
I am at peace, try to believe,
It was my time, I had to leave,
But what a view I have from here,
I see your face, I feel you near.
Whatever you want to do,
Do it now.
There are only so many tomorrows"

Passed Away On: 11/03/2011
It is with sadness that the family of Agnes Marshall advise of her death on March 11, 2011. Agnes is survived by her niece Michele (Green) and her husband Tommy Kerkos. Her great nephew Greg Kerkos and his wife Jen, her great nieces Thea (Kerkos) and her husband Graham Moore and Andrea (Kerkos) and her husband Anselm Souza. Also her great-great nephew Ryan Kerkos and great-great nieces Natalie Moore and Lauren Kerkos. Also fondly remembered by her long time neighbours and close friends Bob and Shirley Leggo. Agnes was born in Montreal February 28, 1918 to Elizabeth and John Marshall. Agnes and her brothers Jack (deceased), Arthur (deceased) and sister Jessie (deceased) lived for a short time in Montreal before the family moved to Corner Brook (Curling). In her early twenties Agnes moved back to Montreal and worked for the Northern Electric Company (NORTEL) until she retired at age 55. At that time she decided to move back to the family home in Curling to enjoy her retirement years. Her passion for a holistic lifestyle along with her keen gardening senses were two areas she embraced all her life. Her caring ways attracted some of the local felines whom she fondly adopted over the years. For many years Agnes was an active member of St. Mary's Church in Curling. At the age of 90 Agnes somewhat reluctantly moved to a retirement home. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday, March 16 1-2 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
