The things we feel so deeply, are the hardest things to say.
But we your family loved you in a very special way.
They say that memories are golden, well that may be true.
But, we never wanted memories we only wanted you.
If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane.
We'd walk the path to heaven and bring you home again.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again

78 Years
On Wednesday February 22, 2006 Patrick Dreaddy passed away in the Fort McMurray
Hospital after a lengthy illness. Patrick is survived by his devoted wife Philomena

by his mother Leona and his father William. It was from them that Patrick attained
his modest demeanor, learned an appreciation and pride in family, and discovered
the value of hard work. He was a warm, caring, and very giving man. Those of
us that know Patrick are deeply shaken by his death and it is with great sadness
that we say our final good-bye to a great family member, mentor and friend. His
life was and remains an inspiration to all of us. Patrick was cremated in Fort
McMurray and on his request his remains will be carried to Newfoundland where
they will await the rest of us. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Pat's
name may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
