[with photo] - 75 years on March 16, 2008 at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of 49 years to Bertha. Loving father of David & Susan, Paul & Denise, Colleen & Jon, Carolyn, James & Anna. Loving grandfather of Sarah & Rachel, Joseph, Anne-Marie, Evangeline. Great grandfather of Felicity. Dear brother of Dr. Brendan Beresford & Virginia, Aiden & Shirley, Fr. James Beresford, Sr. Ruth Beresford, Sr. Marie Beresford, Anne, Kay, Carmel and Theresa Beresford. Son-in-law of Helena Pollett. Brother-in-law of Joe & Bernice Pollett, Albert & Kim Pollett, Roy & Millie Mullins, the late Charles and his wife Bernice & their families all of Ontario, Elva, Ed & Loretta Pollett, David & Judy Pollett and their families all of Newfoundland. He will be sadly missed by many friends and family. David was a member of the K of C #9793 - 3rd degree, Community Living and was an active member in his parish and community. If you so desire, donations made to the Lung Association and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will be held Tuesday 7-9 pm at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. Knights of Columbus #9793 prayers Tuesday 7:30 pm. On Wednesday, family & friends are invited to meet at St. Theresa Church, 1991 Norman Rd., after 9:30 am followed by Mass at 10 am. Cremation to follow. DALTON, Anne (nee Flynn)
[with photo], 77 years, peacefully, on January 17, 2008 went home to the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus. Beloved wife of the late George (1978). Loving mother of Thomas; Edward and Marlene; Roger; Rosemary and Patrick Dibbey; Judith Dalton; George; and Cynthia Pavlovski. Dear daughter of the late Edward and Alice. Dear grandma to Emily, Kalale; Kate and Blaise, Jean, David; Tara and Brandon; Gillian, Breanne; Chrystal and Jim, Ken; Samantha, Adam, and the late Angie (1994). Dear great-grandmother to Catrina. Dear sister to Frank and Nel of Chapel's Cove, Newfoundland and the late Thomas, Edward, Patrick, Michael, Theresa, Mary and Genevieve. She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Met. Hospital 3rd floor nursing staff especially Shane Helgerman, Respiratory Therapists Sean and Anne and Dr. Richard Tan for your dedication and compassion. The entire staff of 4 North you always went out of your way to make mother feel special. To all her friends and Rosary Prayer Group on Rivard especially Ione, you were a good friend. Visiting Saturday, from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830). Parish prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Gregory the Great Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Daniel Bombardier will be the celebrant. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness, a donation to the Carmalite Fathers (Niagara Falls) would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Anne in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 28, 2008. All are welcome. You may share a memory at www.marcottetecumseh.ca

Trevor and Kristan (Gordon) are thrilled to announce the arrival of Pearson Gordon (6 lbs. 10 oz.) and Paige Sheila (5 lbs. 15 oz.) on Friday, January 18th at 2:06 pm and 2:10 pm. Their big brother Trent is thrilled to have 2 new playmates! Proud grandparents are Terry and Mona LeDrew of Grand Falls - Windsor, Newfoundland and Gary and Sheila Gordon of Strathroy. Thank you to the fantastic staff at Met Hospital for their wonderful care!
