COFIELD, Neil
Dad passed away peacefully on May 26, 2012 at Glenwarren Lodge at the age of 94.
Neil was born on Aug.14, 1917 in St. John's, Nfld. In 1943 he married Doris Forsey. She was the Love of his life. They immigrated to Canada (Victoria) in 1945 where he started his career in the meat business at Barry's Grocer. In 1964, Dad opened Cofield Meats on Cook Street. Nothing made Dad prouder than serving his many loyal customers. Dad was very active in the James Bay Lion's Club, swimming at the Crystal Pool with his many friends and travelling the world with his darling Josephine (Doris). He often introduced himself as, "Bashful Neil". He was anything but. Always quick with a hug, his friendly, outgoing nature warmed the heart of whoever was lucky enough to cross his path.
Neil will be missed by his friends and family in BC and Newfoundland. Predeceased by his son Dennis and daughter-in-law, Barbara, survived by his wife Doris, daughters Karen and Brenda, grandchildren Lawrence, Jason, Sarah and Jake, great grandchildren, Lawson and Sophia and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., viewing 10:00 a.m. 10:45 a.m. at First Memorial at 1155 Fort Street . In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Lions Clubs of Victoria.

McCULLEY, Louise
Losing her last long battle with cancer, she fell asleep in Jesus, 29 June 2012.
Born in Brookfield, Newfoundland, the youngest of five children. She was predeceased by all of these and her son John Wayne Adams. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Jack, and many nieces and nephews and Bill (Marg) McCulley, David McCulley and Nessie McCulley.
She was a person who loved people and loved to give and get hugs. She served her church as a Deaconess for many years until failing health sidelined her. A survivor of at least six operations for cancer, she was not able to overcome this last battle.
I would like to thank very much her G.P. Dr. J. Jones and the Victoria Hospice Society, and palliative care staff for their compassionate care during her illness. A Funeral Service will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church 9300 Willingdon road (Airport Road) Sidney, B.C. at Friday, July 6th at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice Society.
