Kennedy, Elizabeth (nee Lyver)
Passed away September 9, 1987 at Escasoni Senior Citizens Home, in her 88th year, formerly of Bell Island. Predeceased by her husband James and son John. Leaving to mourn her loving daughter Margaret Manning; son-in-law William; one brother Allan Lyver and wife Veronica; a special daughter-in-law Mary Kennedy; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Bell Island at 11 A.M., Saturday. Interment at the R.C. Cemetery, Bell Island.

Mesh, Bertha Alma (nee Greening)
Passed peacefully away on September 8, 1987, at her home in Port Blandford, aged 71 years, 10 months. Predeceased by husband Alexander. Leaving to mourn children; Loretta Pollett of Labrador City, Allister Mesh of Lewisporte, Rosalind Caines of Port Blandford; nine grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Interment at St. Aldan's Anglican Cemetery, Port Blandford.

Simms, Bertha (nee Stone)
Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Home at St. Anthony, September 8th, 1987, in her 96th year. Leaving to mourn five sons; George, Frank, Reginald at St. Anthony, Raymond at Toronto, Norman at Corner Brook; four daughters; Jessie and Dorothy at Goose Bay, Jean at St. John's, Catherine at Wesleyville; one sister Mrs. Sadie Stone, Corner Brook; one sister-in-law Mrs. Leah Decker, Roddickton, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Resting at Fillatre's Funeral Home, St. Anthony---(Sorry the remainder I cut off, by accident).

Sullivan, David
Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, September 9 1987, at the Salvation Army Grace General Hospital, age 68 years. Predeceased by his mother Violet within a matter of hours. Leaving with fond memories his wife Trixie; one son, Charles and wife Elizabeth; one daughter, Esther Masher and husband Darren, both of Portugal Cove. Three grandchildren; Niki, Cindy and Wendy; one sister, Violet Trenchard and husband Douglas of St. John's; five brothers; Edward and wife Verna; George and wife Marion, both of Kitchener, Ontario; James and wife Grace; Alfred and wife Blanche, both of Pouch Cove, Horatio and wife Jean of Owen Sound, Ontario; one brother-in-law Robert Noseworthy of Pouch Cove; mother-in-law Mary Cooze of St. John's. Nine sisters-in-law and nine brothers-in-law. Many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road. Funeral Service Saturday, September 12th at 2:30 P.M. from All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove.

Sullivan, Violet
Passed away at the Escasoni on Wednesday, September 9th, 1987, aged 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Ernest. Leaving to mourn; six sons; Edward and wife Verna, George and wife Marion, both of Kitchener, Ontario, James and wife Grace, Alfred and wife Blanche, both of Pouch Cove, Horatio and wife Jean at Owen Sound, Ontario; one daughter; Mrs. Violet Trenchard and husband Douglas at St. John's; son-in-law Robert Noseworthy at Pouch Cove; daughter-in-law Trixie; twenty grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel Freshwater Road. The Funeral will take place from the Anglican Church, Pouch Cove at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, September 12, 1987. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove.
