September 1972


Donovan, James
Passed away suddenly on September 30th, 1972 at 64 Spencer St., James Donovan, aged 80 years, beloved husband of Mary. Left to mourn his sad loss are four daughters; Margaret (Mrs. J. Maynard), Flatrock; Nellie (Mrs. D. Skirving), Dorothea and Anne at home; four sons; Thomas, John, James and William; one sister, Bridget. Also 29 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral took place today at 9:30 am from Caul’s Funeral Home to Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Pear, Frederick Joseph
Passed peacefully away at his home, 20 Bell’s Turn, Frederick Joseph Pear, age 76 years. Leaving to mourn his sad loss, wife Margaret, four sons, William at Cape Cod, Mass., Lawrence at South Wales, Frederick and David, both at London, Ontario; four daughters, Mary (Mrs. James Martin), Ruby (Mrs. David Rawlings), Betty (Mrs. Jack Swanson) of Tacoma, Washington, and Margaret (Mrs. Ralph Power) of Ottawa; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Remains resting at Caul’s Funeral Home. Funeral on Thursday to St. Michael’s Church at a time to be announced. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
