Barron, Richard J.
From - The Evening Telegram, St. John's, Nfld, Abt November 1, 1994
Veteran WWII and Korean Conflicts. Passed peacefully away at his home in St. John's on Sunday, October 30, 1994 after a very lengthy illness, Richard J. Barron, aged 72 years. Left with loving memories, his wife, Mary; his son Steve and daughter-in-law Glenna of Vancouver, B.C.; his son, Rik, daughter-in-law Sarah and granddaughter Mae of Morell, PEI; and his daughter, Jacqui Tam, son-in-law Peter and grandson Kenneth of St. John's. Also left to mourn are his four brothers, four sisters and their families: Pat and Vonnie Barron of British Columbia: Lar and Jo Barron of Mount Pearl; John and Meg Barron of Prince Edward Island; Jim and Flo Barron of St. John`s; Nora Kieley of Holyrood; Sister Margaret Barron of Nova Scotia; Emma and Edgar Morry of Holyrood; and Theresa and Bill Janes of Labrador; as well as all the members of the Morry family and a number of other relatives and very special friends. Resting at Carnells Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation 12 noon to 10 P.m. Monday and Tuesday. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 2, 1994 at 9:45 a.m. from St. Pius Tenth Parish. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Hall, June (nee Newhook)
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital Sunday, October 23, 1994, Patience Alberta June Hall, aged 61 years. Predeceased by father Winston Newhook; brother Wayne and sister Carol Anne. Leaving to mourn loving husband Allan; one daughter Holly Benmore (Edgar); two sons; Rodney (Mary Lou) and Gergory (Millie); 10 grandchildren; Stephen, Monty, Gregory, Claudine, Glenda, Matthew, Krista, Jessica, William and Heather, all of St. John's. Also leaving to mourn mother Hazel Decoste of Stewiache, Nova Scotia and husand Leonard; three brothers; Albert (Kay), Paul and Jim; two sisters; Christine Clarke (Vincent) and Betty Dicintio (Bruno); two sisters-in-law; Shirley Curtis (Montreal) and Anita Hall; and two brothers-in-law; Arden Hall (Mary) and Tony Hall (Barbara); and a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of the 5th floor east, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral Service at Caul's Chapel on Tuesday at 3 pm.. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.

STACK, Clarence Joseph

Passed peacefully away at the Grace General Hospital on October 18th, 1994, aged 66 years. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife Mary (Harnett); seven children: Lucille Cook (Jeff), Katrina Payne (Austin), Rosemary Snow (Fred), Joan and fiancé Len, David (Michille), Nicholas (Karen), Colleen Croke (Wayne) and Jody; 12 grandchildren: Matthew, Melanie, Valerie, Danielle, Aaron, Raymond, Kimberley, Joseph, Stephen, Jeffrey, John and Jennifer; five sisters: Pauline (Richard Chan), Rosemary (John McDonald), Kay (Ron Walsh), Patsy (Gerard Kieley, Yvonne (Robert Collinson); three brothers: Jack (Maude), Arthur (Flory) and Eddie: sisters-in-law: Esther and Ann Brennan (Mike); and special aunt, Beryl Healey; brothers-in-law: Joe Harnett (Rita) and Ray: many nieces and nephews; special friends: Russell Earle and Olive Jenkins; also many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 20th 1994, at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, Petty Harbour.  Flowers gratefully acknowledged or donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
