Glynn, Francis
Passed suddenly away on October 7, 1973, at the General Hospital, Francis Glynn, aged 61 years, of 42 William Street. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Mary; three daughters, Eleanor (Mrs. E. Boley), USA; Joan (Mrs. Fitzgerald), USA; Patricia (Mrs. Martin), St. John's; four brothers, Harry, Leo, Stan at St. John's and George (Bro. Benignus) at San Jose, California; five sisters; Miss May Glynn, Gertrude (Mrs. A. Spurrell), Bride (Mrs. S. Delaney), all of St. John's and Nellie (Mrs. A. Snow), USA; and eight grandchildren. Funeral on Wednesday from Caul's Funeral Home to the Basilica for Mass at 9:30 am.. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Hickey, Mary
Passed peacefully away Monday, October 2nd, 1973, Mary Hickey, aged 56 years. Leaving to mourn husband, Gerald, seven sons; Ronald, Dermot, Leon, William, Dwight, Gregory and Patrick at home; seven daughters; Beatrice (Mrs. Lester Butler), St. John’s, Stella (Mrs. Earl Conro), USA., Geraldine (Mrs. Thomas Court), Alberta, Albreda (Mrs. J. Peters), USA, Bernadette (Mrs. Robert Blundon), Alberta, Margaret (Mrs. Barry Bedester), USA, and Deborah at home. Also 16 grandchildren. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home. Funeral 9:30 am Thursday from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Stone, Eugene E.
Passed away at the General Hospital in Tuesday, October 16th, 1973, Eugene E. Stone, of 92 Portugal Cove Road, aged 56 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Dorothy; three sons; Eugene (Stoney), Oshawa, Ontario, Dennis and Randolph, both at St. John’s; also his mother, Mrs. Emmanuel Stone of St. John’s; four sisters; Teenie (Mrs. Stephen Brown), Harcourt, T.B., Peg (Mrs. Lindsay Ploughman), Daisy (Mrs. Roy Vivian), both of St. John’s, Belle (Mrs. Stewart Peddle), Clarenville; three brothers, Ralph at Monroe, T.B., Harry at St. John’s and Doyle at Toronto; also five grandchildren. Funeral from the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road at 2 pm on Thursday, October 18th, 1973 to Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers in Memoriams may be made to the Canadian Heart Foundation.
