MORRIS, Donald H.
Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Center at the age of 69 years, on Wednesday, November 26, 1997, after a ten year battle with cancer that was fought with great courage. Mr. Donald Morris, retired Archivist, Historian and Writer. Leaving to mourn three brothers: Eric, St. John's, Richard, Halifax, Gordon (Gwen), St. John's; sister Helen Mullin (Kent), Halifax; and good friend Len Walsh. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue Thursday and Friday 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 Noon. Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, November 29th at 2 p.m. from Barrett's Chapel. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center.

SCURRY, David
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's, Friday, July 11, 1997, surrounded by family, David Joseph Scurry, age 75. Predeceased by brother Jack and sister Alice. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife Mary (Taylor); one daughter Paulette (Mrs. Greg St. George); three grandchildren: David, Matthew and Janelle, which he adored. They will miss Poppy but will never gorget him. He has gone on to be their Guardian Angel; two sisters: Mary (Frank Andrews) and Marg Finn; two brothers: James and Edmund; a large circle of nieces, nephews and an endless circle of friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visiting hours 7-10 p.m., Saturday and 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., Sunday. Funeral on Monday, July 14, 1997 at St. Patrick's Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

WILLIAMS, Eugene Harold
Aged 68 years. Ex-member Royal Canadian Dragons, service number 1248. Passed peacefully away at the William Jackman Memorial Hospital, Labrador City, November 30, 1997. Loving son of the late Alice and Weston K. Williams, Forest Pond, Goulds. Predecased by brother George. Leaving to mourn brother Alexander, Vancouver Island, B.C.; sisiters: Margery (Mrs. Lloyd Samson), Edmonton, Alberta, Valda (Mrs. Weldon Williams), Goulds, Gwen (Mrs. Ron Tucker), Topsail, and Olive (Mrs. Gordon Carter), Goulds; dear friend Linda Battaro, Labrador City. Also leaving to mourn dear nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. - 12 noon Thursday. funeral Service 2 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 1997 from St. Paul's Anglican, Goulds with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Goulds. Donations in his memory may be made to the Labrador West Ministerial Association, Labrador City or St. Paul's Church Cemetery Fund.
