FINN, Patrick
Passed peacefully away at his home in the Goulds, November 1st 1982, Patrick Finn, aged 85. Leaving to mourn his loving Louise, six sons: William at Toronto; and wife Sally; Jack and his wife Isabel; Tom and wife Carol; David and and wife Sandra; Bernard and wife Melta; Edward and wife Edwina; also six daughters: Patricia (Mrs. Claude Madore) at Quebec; Genevieve (Mrs. Basil Murphy); Bernadine  (Mrs. Randy Dyke); Harriett (Mrs. Leonard Stanley); Rose (Mrs. Edward James); Veronica (Mrs. Leonard Dooling); also 37 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral Wednesday to St. Kevin's Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the Goulds. 

HOWLETT, Gerald S.
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on November 1, 1982, after a lengthy illness, Gerald S. Howlett, aged 58 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Lucy; his mother Mrs. Theresa Howlett of Toronto; four sons: Eric and wife Alice of Mount Pearl, Don and wife Geraldine of the Goulds, Ken and wife Linda of Mount Pearl and Gerald at home; five daughters: Regina of Toronto, Theresa (Mrs. Terry Bennett) of Kilbride, Verna, Winnifred and Denise at home; two brothers: Frank residing in England and Leo in Toronto; two sisters: Mary Kean and Loretta (Mrs. Harold Neal) both of Toronto; eight grandchildren: Christopher, Lisa, Jason, Nicolas, Matthew, Michael, and Jessica, Johnathan; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3, to St. Kevin's Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Goulds.

RYAN, Mary Frances
Passed suddenly away on November 7th, Mary Frances Ryan, aged 52 years. Leaving to mourn her beloved husband, Michael Ryan; father, Thomas Madden; mother-in-law Mrs. Annie Ryan; 6 sons: Robert (daughter-in-law Diane), Joseph (daughter-in-law Janet), David, Michael Jr., Christopher and Pius; three daughters: Delores (son-in-law John Glynn), Anita (son-in-law Brian Dinn), Julianna (and friend Robert Walsh), 4 grandchildren: Ryan Glynn, Brenda Glynn, Shannon Ryan, and Jennifer Dinn; two brothers: Thomas Madden at Toronto and Patrick Madden at Petty Harbour; three sisters: Nellie Doyle at Petty Harbour, Frances Badstock at Toronto and Margaret Kucharyshen at Toronto, also a very large circle of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls.
