Leaving to mourn his wife Shirley; two daughters: Janet Reid (Gord), Toronto, Mary, at home; three sons: Gerald, daughter-in-law Gail, Alfred, fiancee Dawn and William, all at Toronto; four brothers; four sisters; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9; Friday from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. in St. Marys Anglican Church. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Lance Cove, Bell Island.

HUBENY, Anne - Of Courtenay, B.C. passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband at her bedside on Friday, November 16, 2001, age 88. Anne is survived by her husband George and by her nephews: Peter, Paul and Gary and by her niece Jane. Anne was born in England, married to George in England and together moved to Canada and retired to the Comox Valley. Special thanks to Dr. Stephen Matous and to all the nurses and home care staff that helped so much in her care during Anne's illness. JONES, Llewellyn - Aged 83 years. With the heart of a lion and the twinkle still in his eye, our beloved Father went willingly to the arms of God and to the dear ones that went before. A reunion to be envied. Predeceased by his wife and partner of 66 years, Anne Jones, who left us on March 20 of this year; also his darling daughter Carolyn, who left this life June 26, 1979. He leaves behind two sons: Gary (Karen), Greg (Sandra), with whom he resided, and special grandson Garth (Michelle), grandchildren: Nancy (Trevor), Virginia, Amy (Ian), Matthew and Trevor; also great-grandsons Nathan and Adam; and sister-in-law Mrs. Delphine Butler. At his request cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, Hamilton Ave., on Wednesday, November 7 from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.; and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until noon; From there a memorial service will take place at St. John The Evangelist Church, Topsail at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. A private family interment will take place for both Dad and Mom in the days to follow. At Lew's request, both flowers and donations are respectfully declined. PARSONS, Dorothy May (nee Millen) - 1921-2001. On the morning of November 8th our Mom, Dorothy, died peacefully in Toronto with her five daughters at her side. She had lived in St. John`s, Newfoundland from 1946 to 1956 and was the loving wife of John G. (Jack), originally of Flatrock, Nfld., who predeceased her in 1979. She will be remembered lovingly by her daughters, Marilyn MacDonald (Leigh) and grandsons Geoffrey and Michael, Dartmouth; Sheila McHugh (Al) and granddaughters Jennifer and Merrin; Pat Dejardins (Michael) and grandsons Chris and Sean; Anita Thachuk (Peter); and Barb Parsons (Ernest Balmer), all of Toronto. She had been an active member of St. Clement`s Church C.W.L. and volunteered at the Dartmouth General Hospital while living in Dartmouth. She had resided in Toronto since 1986.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife and best friend of 40 years, Catherine (nee Fitzgerald); sons: Jim Jr., Paradise and Don (Wanda), Fredericton, NB; daughter Jennifer Quilty (Scott), Paradise; six cherished grandchildren: Joshua, Matthew, Jessica, Christopher, Alexander and Sarah; brothers: Don (Kay) and Frank (Nina); sisters: Jean Parsons (Don), Doreen O`Driscoll (Wilf) and Florence Williams. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.

It is with deep regret that the family of Pauline Alicia Windsor, R. N. announces her passing at the Health Sciences Center on Tuesday, November 13, 2001, after a lengthy and courageous battle, aged 54 years. Leaving to mourn her faithful and devoted friend Gucci as well as many loving relatives and friends, At Pauline request, cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be at Barretts Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, from 3-4 pm. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., on Thursday and Friday. Funeral services will be held at Barretts Chapel at a time to be announced. Internment at Philips Anglican Cemetery. Aquaforte. Flower gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to Philips Anglican Cemetery, Aquaforte.
