Baird,Mary - Passed peacefully away at her residence in her 74th year, after a short illness, on July 23, 1986. Predeceased by her husband Frederick.Leaving to mourn three sons: Joseph, wife Mary, daughter Tara at Torbay, Richard, wife Janice, daughters Erin, Robine and Mary Ann at Kilbride and David at home; also two sisters-in-law: Emily and Elizabeth, both at St. John's; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral on Friday to St. Joseph's Church for Mass at 10 A.M. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Breen, Muriel - Passed away suddenly July 21st, 1986, at the Health Sciences Complex. Resident of 153 Casey Street. Leaving to mourn one brother Dermott F.: five sisters: Mary, Kathleen, Eileen Bailey, Sheila Smith (Toronto); Moyra Cassidy (Moncton). Resting at Caul's Funeral Home. ???Wednesday, to St. Patrick's ??? Interment at ?????

RICHE, HAROLD - Died suddenly as a result of an accident, at his home in Castro Valley, California, on Friday, July 11, 1986, aged 56 years. Leaving to mourn his sons: James and Ted: daughter Laurie at Valley, California; father Chesley; brothers: David and Chesley; sister Shirley Cormier of Cape Pele, N.B. and his aunt Bette Wallace of Galesburg, Illinois. Memorial service was held at the Neighbourhood Church, Castro Valley on Wednesday, July 16.

ROSE, CHESLEY - Ex-Police sergent, aged 77 years. Passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Complex on Sunday, July 20, 1986. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Elizabeth;son David and wife Bicki; daughter Pauline (Mrs. Fred Quinton); grandchildren; Suzanne and Fred Quinton, David, Sean and Michele Rose; brother Max; sisters: Flossie (Watton) and Mary Snow. Also many other relatives and friends. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Funeral will take place from the Anglican Cathedral on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anglican Cathedral Endowment Fund, c/o 22 Church Hill, St. John's, A1C 3Z9

Wells, William F. Aged 90 years.
Passed peacefully away at the Grace General Hospital on Wednesday July 2,1986. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife, Mabel: son David and wife Anne Marie of Gander; two grandsons: Christopher and Sean; one brother George and wife Frances of St. John's; sister-in-law Mildred Wiseman; nieces and nephews and a circle of family and friends, resting at Barretts Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Visiting from 7-9 pm Thursday and 2-4 pm Friday. Funeral from Barrett's Chapel at 2 p.m. July 5.
