The Telegram Obituaries
Passed peacefully away on July 2 1985 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, after a lengthy illness, Gertrude Finn, in her 91st year. Leaving to mourn her sad loss are five sons: Jim at St. John's; Gerry and Tom at Gander; Patrick at England; and Peter Francis at Regina; three daughters: Mary (Mrs. Martin Madden) at Maddox Cove; Eileen (Mrs. Eugene Lamkin) at New Jersey and Margaret at home, also 15 grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Margaret Bowe at the Goulds and Mrs. Elizabeth Lynch at Corner Brook; one nephew Andrew Lynch at Corner Brook; one brother-in-law Philip Finn at Goulds, and a number of other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral from St. Kevin's Church, Goulds, 10:30 a.m. Friday. Interment at the R.C. Cemetery, Goulds.
