Passed away at Riverdale Hospital in Toronto on July 14, 1983, after a lengthy illness, Herbert Pack, aged 86 years, formerly of Bay Bulls, Nfld. Leaving two mourn two sons: Clarence and wife Ruth in Toronto and Selby and wife Alma of St. John's; one daughter Mrs. Rita Irving of Toronto with whom he resided; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on arrival from Toronto. Funeral service Monday, July 18 at 2:30 p.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Bay Bulls. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Gunridge, Bay Bulls.
SNOW, Ernest Sr.
Passed away suddenly on July 13, 1983, Ernest Snow Sr., aged 71 years. Leaving to mourn besides his loving wife Helen, three daughters: Frances (Mrs. Nicholas Arns) of Kilbride with whom he resided; Stella (Mrs. Warwick Chafe) of Three Mile Pond, Topsail; Jean (Mrs. Douglas Squires) of 124 Farrell Drive; one son Ernest Jr. and wife Isabel of Shea Heights; two brothers: Fred and William of St. John's; two sisters: Kitty (Mrs. Peter Noftall), and Joan (Mrs. John Flood); 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral on Friday from Caul's Funeral Home to St. John Bosco Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
