The Telegram Obituaries
July 1952

 

McGillivary, William Passed peacefully away on July 22nd, 1952, William McGillivary, in his 83rd year: leaving to mourn wife, four daughters, Mrs. F.W. Reid, Mrs. C.H. Hammond of St. Johns, Mrs. J.C. Pearcey of Harmon Field, & Mrs. J. C. Puddister of Montreal; four sons Thomas, Gerald & Clarence, all of St. John's, and Albert in Montreal; fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. Funeral will take place Thursday at 2:30 by motor hearse from the residence of his son, Mr. Thomas McGillivary, 40 King's Bridge Road.
