John was the eldest son of the late Leander and Margaret Warren (nee Dwyer) of Bell Island, Nfld. Dear brother of Gwendolyn, wife of Walter Lahey Jr. of Bell Island; Peter of Bell Island; James of Toronto; Clayton of Barrie; Lawrence of Corner Brook, Nfld.; and Daniel of Cambridge. John is remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as close friends. A private family service was held at Mount View Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 1999. Burial.
