Knight, Francis (Frank) Scott
Passed peacefully away at the Grace General Hospital, on Saturday,
February 9th, 1985, Frank S. Knight, WW1 Royal Newfoundland Regiment
Veteran, aged 87 years and former owner of Knightville. Leaving to mourn
his loving wife Evelyn (nee Kean); daughter Nancy and son-in-law John
Caines with whom he resided; two grandchildren; Courtney and Ryan; also
a large number of special nieces and nephews and other relatives and
friends. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road. Friends
may visit on Monday from 10 am -12 noon, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm., and on
Tuesday, from 10 am – 12 noon. The Funeral Service will be held
from Carnell’s Chapel on Tuesday at 2 pm.. Interment in the General
Protestant Cemetery.
Martin, Reginald (Rex)
Passed away at the Grace General Hospital, on Monday, February
11th, 1985, Reginald (Rex) Martin. Leaving to mourn
his wife Vera; son, Dr. Reginald L. and wife Heather; two daughters;
Florence M. and husband David R.L. White and Dr. June and husband Dr.
G. Keith Winter; seven grandchildren; two sisters; Mae and Margaret (Mrs.
Donald Tayler) and other relatives and friends. Resting at the Carnell
Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road, until 12 noon Wednesday, February 13th,
1985. The Funeral will take place from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church
on Wednesday, February 13th, 1985 at 2:30 pm.. Interment in
the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. No flowers by request. Those wishing
to, may make a contribution to St. Thomas’ Anglican Church Memorial
Fund.
