Andrews, Esau
Passed peacefully away at his residence, Portugal Cove, on Monday, February 7th, 1972, Esau Andrews, aged 83 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Selina, one daughter Clara (Mrs. Frank Garland), six sons, Alex, William, Ralph, Wilson, Cyril and Alwyn; one step-son Andrew, one brother Jacob; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; also a large number of friends. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road. Funeral on Wednesday at 2:30 pm from the Anglican Church, Portugal Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s School of the CNIB.

Murphy, Dennis
Died suddenly at his home on Portugal Cove Rd., as a result of an accident, Feb. 2, 1972, Dennis Murphy aged 16 years. Left to mourn are his parents Mr. and Mrs. Peter Murphy, three brothers, Peter, James and Kevin; also his grandmother. Remains resting at Caul's Funeral Home. Funeral to take place from Caul's Saturday morning at 10 a.m. for Mass at Holy Rosary Parish, Portugal Cove.

Parsons, Richard F.
Passed away early Thursday, February 10th, 1972, age 74 years. Leaving to mourn two sons, Richard Jr. and Philip; one daughter Joan (Mrs. William Coughlan) of Halifax; seven grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road. Funeral from the Anglican Cathedral at 3 pm on Saturday. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
