She was an avid listener of VOWR and she loved to call in and speak to her special friends there everyday. She loved her family in Avondale and she always spoke of the kindness of her nephews that they gave her everytime she was there. Mom opened her heart to many people in her lifetime and she was such a kind hearted woman to all that knew her. Her memory of life's events and "who was who" was unbelievable. She will be greatly missed by all, but we are glad that she is no longer in any pain. And we are to be sure that she is an angel looking down on us and smiling,"It's OK now, I am at peace and I am no longer afraid."

For over 30 years, Anne taught in Newton and was a dedicated and compassionate advocate of children.
Anne was a strong, independent woman, who was an avid reader and loved to travel. She should be remembered for her tremendous faith in God, despite the challenges she encountered. Anne courageously lived for seven years with Alzheimer's disease. Her legacy to her family is her faith, humility and compassion.
