COULTAS, William Blackler Knight -
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, December 22,
1992, William B.K. Coultas, age 77 years. A veteran
of World War II with the 159th regiment (Battery 23), a member of the Masonic
(Avalon Lodge) and an active member of the Church Lads' Brigade with rank of
Major. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Ray (nee Parsons); son Bill of St.
John's; daughter Rae Lanswood of Mount Pearl; grandchildren; Shawn Lamswood,
Allison (Brian Chase), Mark Oliver and Joyce Lanswood; great-grandchild Cody;
brother Angus; sisters; Helen, Phyllis (Charlie Snow), Norma, all of St. John's
and Audrey of Vancouver; brother-in-law George Parsons (Sheila); also other
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel,
Freshwater Road. Funeral service on Thursday, December 24, 1992 at 2 p.m. from
St. Augustine's Anglican Church. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount
Road. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Church
Lads Brigade or the Newfoundland Cancer Treatment Research Foundation
