Collett, Reginald Gordon
Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the Health Science Center on April 26th, 1997, Reginald Gordon Collett in his 88th year, formerly of Harbour Buffett. Predeceased by his first wife Mary (1958) and daughters Regina (1993) and Marilyn (1995). Leaving to mourn his devoted wife Annie; three daughters; Sylvia (Allan Hann), Monica Cole and Barbara (Bill Kenway); son Max (Brenda); son-in-law Pat Gaulton; step-daughters; Mary (Ray Brown) and Evelyn (Austin Fowler); step-son Fred White (Ena); one brother; Austin (Jessie); two sisters; Augusta Hann and Florence (Charles Earle); 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Baine Harbour. Funeral On Monday, April 28th, 1997 at 2 pm.. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark’s Church Building Fund, Baine Harbour.

Coveyduck, John
Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 16th, 1997, age 55 years. Leaving to mourn, his wife Beverley Anne; sons; Robert (fiancée Danielle), John; daughters; Elaine (husband John), Leona (husband John); three grandchildren; special godchild Kelly Anne; sisters; Sharon (Ted), Joan (John), and Doreen; brothers; Allan, Wayne (Hilda); also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home 84 LeMarchant Road. Funeral Service on Saturday, April 19th, 1997 at 11 am from St. Peter on the Rock Church, Shea Heights. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.

FINN, Jane (nee Hearn)
Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Tuesday, April 8, 1997, surrounded by family and friends, Jane Frances Finn, age 98, formerly of the Goulds. Predeceased by her husband Patrick J. (1977), her parents, five brothers and one sister. Leaving to mourn 3 sons: Stan (Mary), Joseph (Martha), David (Patricia); 3 daughters: Marie Guiney (Cyril), Eileen Walsh (James) all of the Goulds, and Bride (Drew) Finn, Calvert; also cousin Beth Williams, Goulds; 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 10, 1997 at 10 a.m. from St. Kevin's Parish, Goulds. Interment in St. Kevin's Cemetery, Goulds.

Gallagher, Patrick K.
Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Sunday, April 6th, 1997, Patrick Gallagher of St. John’s, aged 72 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife Hilda; two sons; Gary (Sheila) and Patrick (Dianne); two daughters; Cathy (Gary French) and Janet (Phillip Lane); ten grandchildren; Scott, Sean, Jeffery, Stephen, Peter, Colin, Melanie, Erin, Ryan, and Michael; three brothers; Gerald (Helen), New York, Ray (Elizabeth) and Frank (Sis); six sisters; Peg Nelson, Kay Milauskas, Loretta Lewis, Genevieve Unger and Florence Haney, all in the USA., and Rita MacDonald, St. John’s; sisters-in-law; Yvonne (Clarence Randell) and Judy (Richard Whitty) of Montreal; one brother-in-law Al (Gloria) Bulgin, Sudbury, Ontario; also a large circle of relatives and friends and his wonderful caregivers a St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 9th, 1997 at 9:30 am from the Basilica. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home.

Sullivan, Kevin J - Passed peacefully away at Health Sciences Center on April 4, 1997, Kevin J. Sullivan of Calvert, aged 42 years. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Stella (Walsh) and two children: Todd, age 12 years and Amanda, age 11 years; His parents; Harold and Catherine Sullivan, four brothers: Lloyd (Linda), Adrian (Dot), Danny (Phyllis), and Harold (Friend Linda): three sisters: Ellen (Damien Collier). Shelia, (Chris Boland), Margaret (Keiran Ward), also his mother and father-in-law, Jim and Ellen Walsh: six sisters-in-law: Marie (Andy Hennessey), Helen (Al Power), Geraldine (Edward Langdon), Patricia (Lot Short), Jane and Mae; and many other friends and relatives, Many thanks to Doctors Wong, Farrell and MacIntyre and the staff of 4 North A. Remains resting at his home in Calvert. Funeral mass from Immaculate Conception Church, Calvert, Monday April 7 at 2 p.m. Internment R.C. Cemetery, Ferryland.

TOBIN, Albert J.
Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Hospital in Port-aux-Basques on Thursday, April 17th, 1997, Albert J. Tobin in his 87th year, formerly of 43 Long Pond Rd., St. John's. predeceased by his wife Alice; sister Mary Whitty; and son-in-law Peter Roger Murphy. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, daughters: Mary Hall (Arden), Jo-Anne Murphy and family; sons: Brian (Joan), Paul (Dianne), Tom (Frances); also 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and the Duff family. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Rd. Funeral Mass on Monday, April 21sat, 1997 at 10:45 a.m. from St. Pius X Church. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
