CHAFE, Walter
Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, Tuesday, April 3rd, Walter Chafe, age 65 years of Upper Island Cove, formerly of St. John's. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Gwenda, two daughters Margaret (Mrs. Lorne Reid), and Maureen (Mrs. Raymond Drover, both of Upper Island Cove, son Gilbert and daughter-in-law Lena, St. John's, also ten grandchildren, two sisters Marjorie (Mrs. R. Sheppard), Montreal, and Dorothy (Mrs. Baxter Sale), St. John's, mother-in-law Mrs. E.A. Lee and family, England, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m. from Young's Funeral Home, Spaniards Bay to St. Peter's Church, Upper Island Cove. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery.
