Abbott, Mary Ann
Passed peacefully away, Mary Ann Abbott, widow of the late Absalom Abbott, aged 88 years. Left to mourn are three sons, Hubert, William and Chesley; one daughter, Mrs. W.J. McMahon in Montreal, also three sisters, Mrs. E. Pasher, Mrs. J. Hollahan in Montreal, Mrs. S. Greening in St. John's. Funeral on Friday at 2:30 p.m. from her late residence, 16 Hayward Avenue. (Canadian & American papers please copy).

Bartlett,Madeleine
Passed peacefully away Wednesday, February 23rd, 1938, Madeleine, widow of the late Jacob Bartlett: leaving to mourn four daughters and one sister. Funeral Friday at 2:30 p.m.; from her late residence 51 Quidi Vidi Road.

Douglas, Elizabeth M. (nee Foran)
Passed peacefully away February 23, 1938 at London, England, Elizabeth M. Douglas (nee Foran); beloved wife of Capt. Sholto Grant Douglas, C.B.E., R.N., (retired).

Snook, Shirley Anne
On Feb. 23, 1938, Shirley Anne, age 7 months, darling child of John and Bessie Snook, Pearce Avenue.
