In Memoriam ABBOTT In fond and loving memory of a dear Mother and Grandmother Carol Ann Abbott who passed away May 10, 1998 God saw you getting tired, The cure was not to be, He held you in His loving arms, And whispered, "Come with Me." You didn't deserve what you went through, And so He gave you rest, God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best. You tried so hard to stay with us, Your fight was all in vain, God took you in His loving arms, And freed you from your pain. To hear your voice and see you smile, To sit with you and talk awhile, To be together in the same old way, Would be our greatest wish today. So please God take a message, To our precious Mom up above, Tell her we miss her terribly, And give her all our love. Nanny: We know you are not here to see us grow, But you have angels watching over us we know. Ever remembered and always loved by daughters Tonya (Darrin), Janet (Dave) and grandchildren Tyler, Matthew and Brooke. - May 12, 2003

In Memoriam JACKMAN (Nixon) In loving memory of a very special Mother and Grandmother Lillian Jean Jackman June 26, 1932 - May 5, 2000 Our Mother Our mother has left this earth, Leaving behind four, who will forever hurt. From her womb, all four children came, By her, each and everyone was loved the same All four had for themselves, A mother's greatest love, Each love so unique, it fit like a glove. Four hearts hereafter Broken with their loss, Four sets of memories That'll gather no moss. Time willed back, none of the four would do, Because of the pain, Mom was going through. Though a piece of each, Four now feels gone, And time, without Mom in it, seems so long. Forever in 4 hearts, 4 memories, and 4 souls, Your life with us was more precious than gold. In Memoriam MANNING In fond and loving memory of a dear Wife and Mother Marjorie Manning who died May 9, 1994 To hear your voice and see your smile, To sit with you and talk awhile, To be together in the same old way, Would be our greatest wish today. So please God take a message, To our precious Mom up above, Tell her we miss her terribly, And give her all our love. If I had all the world to give, I'd give it, yes, and more, To hear her voice and see her smile, And greet her at my door. But all I can do, dear mother, Is go and tend your grave, And leave behind tokens of love, To the best mother God ever made. I like to think when life is done, Wherever heaven may be, That she'll be standing at the door, Up there to welcome me. There is someone who misses you sadly, And finds the time long since you went, There is someone who thinks of you always. And tries to be brave and content. Gone is the face we loved so dear, Silent the voice we loved to hear, 'Tis sad, but true, we wonder why, The best are always the first to die. In Memoriam MARTIN In fond and loving memory of a precious and dearly loved Daughter, Sister and Aunt Angela Martin who passed away May 21, 1998 age 22 Five years have passed, dear Angie, Since you were called away. How well do we remember That sad and weary day. No one knows the heartaches, Only those who have lost can tell, Of the grief that we bear in silence, For the one we loved so well. She had gone across the river To the shore of evergreen, And we long to see her dear face But the river flows between. Someday, sometime, we shall see The face we loved so well, Someday we'll clasp her loving hand And never say farewell. When the shadows of night are falling, And we are sitting alone. There always comes a longing dear, If you only could come home. A little tear falls from our eyes, We swallow hard, try not to cry. We think of you so far away, Five years ago you died today. Still sometimes when we're all alone, We hope and pray to hear the phone. To hear you say just one more time, That we are loved and you are fine. We love you Angie: You will always be with us. Love Mom and Dad; sisters Pam (Chris), Debbie (Paul), brothers Gordon (Wendy), Keith (Charlaine) and all your nieces and nephews. - May 20, 2003

In Memoriam MEEK In loving memory of a dear Father and Grandfather Alexander A. who passed suddenly away May 15, 1999 Age 56 years DAD: Little did we know when we woke that morn, The sorrow the day would bring, The call was sudden, the shock severe, To part with our Dad whom we loved so dear. We cannot forget the sadness, That filled our hearts that day, But that is the way it had to be, God wanted it that way. You bade no one your last farewell, You said goodbye to none, The Heavenly Gates were opened, A loving voice said "Come." A heart of gold stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Surrounded by friends we are lonesome, In the midst of our joys we are blue, With a smile on our faces we have a heartache, Longing dear Dad for you. No one knows how much we miss you, No one knows the bitter pain, We have suffered since we lost you, Life has never been the same. No matter how we spend our days, No matter what we do, Before we close our eyes at night, We always think of you. To us you were very special, You were loving, kind and true, You will never be forgotten Dad, For we thought the world of you. We will hold you close within our hearts, And there you will remain, To walk with us throughout our lives, Until we meet again. We love and miss you always and will treasure the memories forever. Love from your daughters Valerie, Heather, Diane, Krista and Poppy's special little girl, Kaitlyn. - May 20, 2003

In Memoriam POWER (nee Hennifent) In loving memory of Wife & Mother Ann Happy Mother's Day It seems like only yesterday, If we could have a lifetime wish, A dream that would come true, We'd pray to God with all our hearts, For yesterday and you. A thousand words can't bring you back, We know because we've tried, Neither will a thousand tears, We know because we've cried. You left behind our broken hearts, And happy memories too, But we never wanted memories, We only wanted you. It's almost three years since you went Home, Where flowers bloom and angels roam; We watched you go, you prepared us all, For the day when God would come and call. A smile for all, a heart of gold, One of the best the world could hold. When we're lonely and sad, And your death seems unfair, We hear you whisper softly, "Touch your heart, you'll find me there." Forever loved and missed; husband Leo; daughters: Kim, Kelly and Cindy. - May 12, 2003

I pray that he tells you I love you, And that I miss you more each day, And I wish that you were here with me, Back in the same old way. I realize now you wanted to go, To be with dad I'm sure, For how could you go on without the man, That you always have lived for. A golden heart was broken, That only he could mend, For you not only lost a husband, You lost your best of friends. I saw the tears fall from their face, Their love and pain mix, As death came without a trace To take a young life to fix. I watched the sea shed a tear And the oil rig work no more, Now you are without fear, And your spirit's free to soar. I remember the game you lost your cool And the party where everyone came, How can life be so cruel, As we search to find blame. I know you hid the pain, From your love ones to embrace, Now the memories remain For all to trace with grace. I listened to the wind today As the sun's rays covered the dark ground, I planted a seed as I began to pray, And wished you were still around.
