CLARKE In loving memory of a dear Father Kevin Clarke who passed away June 1, 2001 "13 Steps are Behind Me Now" Beyond the Bell Island sunset, Where love never dies, He lies in a beautiful garden, Beneath God's heavenly skies. May the birds of heaven sing softly, On that sweet and sacred place, Where the one we love is sleeping, And can never be replaced. So much has changed in little time, Reunions become anew, Not only have you been blessed with one, But with the souls of two. Your soft angel wings were waiting, For the precious women in your life, First you hugged your mother, And then embraced your wife. Remembering that October day, To your mother we said goodbye, When gazing towards the heavens, There was a rainbow in the sky. In April we felt your spirit, Your sweet soul had joined God's will, With welcoming arms around your wife, That moment in time stood still. We always prayed that you felt peace, Wondered if you did somehow, No question remains in our mind, We know you are happy now. Forever our love is with you Dad, Every day and each tomorrow, Cherished memories you gave to us, You will always be our hero. Always loved, never forgotten, all your children. - June 02, 2003

HICKEY In loving memory of a dear Father Joseph Hickey Who passed away June 7, 2002 We think of you in silence, We always speak your name. We still feel that bitter pain, That all too quickly came. Each morning we awake, And know that you are gone. No one knows the heartache, As we try to carry on. They say that time heals everything, But we know that isn't so, Because it hurts as much today, As it did one year ago. The flowers we lay upon your grave, May wither and decay, But the love for you who lies beneath, Will never fade away. Loved and remembered each day by daughter Joanne, Rick and loving friend Rose. - June 09, 2003

HICKEY In loving memory of a dear Father, Grandfather, Father-in-law & Friend Joe Hickey Who passed away suddenly on June 7, 2002 Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth, And danced the skies on laughter - silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth, Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soured and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew - And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod The high untresspassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand and touched the face of God. Forever loved and always missed son Duane, daughter-in-law Shelley and grandson Chad. - June 09, 2003

Your smile, your grace your gentle face. Mom, you were one of the best We know now you are finally at rest. POWER In loving memory of Frank Power June 4, 1993 "Once More" Dad There have been so many times I have prayed to be able to be with you ... once more. It's hard to believe that it has been ten years. If I could talk to you, once more, I would tell you that your girls are doing fine. Allison is a woman now: smart, loving and loyal. And Mom ... she becomes more beautiful & wise with each year. And me, I'm happy. We all take care of each other, we miss you deeply. If I could share a moment with you, once more, I would tell you I am sorry for all the time we lost. I would give anything to admit to you, that you were right. If I could talk to you, once more, I would say "I love you." Dad, you are with me every moment of my life. For that comfort, I thank you. Until we meet ... once more, S. - June 02, 2003

If you never had that feeling, I pray you never do, For when you lose your mother, You lose a part of you. God called you home so sweetly, That only you could hear, No one heard the footsteps, Of the angels drawing near. SNOW In fond and loving memory of a dear Husband, Father and Grandfather Ernest (Pud) Snow who passed away suddenly May 31, 1987 This month comes back with sad regret, It brings back a time I will never forget, God took you away without a goodbye, And left me behind still wondering why. This world may change from year to year, And friends from day to day, But never shall the one I loved, From my memory pass away. Many a silent tear is shed, When I am all alone, The one I loved so very much, The one I called my own. Dad: We little knew when we woke that morn, The sorrow the day would bring, For the call was sudden, the shock severe, To part with one we loved so dear. A thousand prayers won't bring you back, We know because we tried, And neither will a thousand tears, We know because we cried. The hardest thing in life to bear, Is to want you dad, and you're not there, With a broken heart we whisper low, We love you Dad and we miss you so. Poppy: Dear God, take a message to heaven, To our poppy up there above, Tell him how much we miss him, And give him all our love. WALSH In loving memory of a very special Granddaughter Janine Marie Goretti Died June 16th, 1992 age 9½ yrs. To me you were someone special, You were loving kind and true, You will never be forgotten, For I thought the world of you. Nanny, Janine, I love you. In loving memory of a dear Niece & Godchild This day is remembered and quietly kept, No need for reminders, I will never forget, Deep in my heart you'll always stay, Loved and remembered every day. There's nothing can be more beautiful, Than the memories I have of you, To me you were someone special, And God must have thought that too. Please God put your arms around Janine, And keep her in your loving care, I know she is one of your angels now, And that's why she can't be here. Remembered every day in every way by Aunt Agnes. - June 16, 2003

WALSH In loving memory of our wonderful and precious Daughter Janine Marie Goretti who passed away at the Janeway Children's Hospital June 16, 1992 age 9 years 7 months We cannot keep from wondering, No matter how we try, And in our sad and lonely hearts, We keep on asking why. How can we as parents understand, Our daughter has gone away, Gone from this world forever, And not just for a day. No matter where we're going, No matter what we do, There always comes a moment, When we stop and think of you. They say memories are golden, And maybe that is true, But we never wanted memories, Janine, We only wanted you. Janine was a special person, With a dear and thoughtful way, She always seemed to take the time, To brighten someone's day. Your resting place we visit, And put flowers there with care, But no one knows how much we cry, When we turn and leave you there. They say there is a reason, They say that time will heal, But neither time nor reason, Will change the way we feel. Janine, we want to tell you something, So there won't be any doubt, You're so wonderful to think of, But so hard to be without. We watched you suffer, We watched you die, But all we could do was just stand by. When the time came we suffered too, For you never deserved what you went through. God took your hand and we had to part, He eased your pain and broke our hearts. Gentle Jesus meek and mild, Please take care of our dear child. We love you Janine. Remembered every day in every way by Mommy and Daddy. - June 16, 2003

I cannot stop the hands of time, Or live again the past, But in my heart are memories, That will forever last. Fondly remembered by Uncle Vic. - June 16, 2003

WALSH In loving memory of my very precious Sister Janine Marie Goretti who left me to live with God June 16, 1992 Age 9 yrs., 7 mths. God gave me a beautiful sister, Her memory will never grow old, He fashioned her smile out of sunshine, He moulded her heart out of gold. He needed a new star in heaven, A beautiful light to shine, So out of this world of sorrow, He took that dear sister of mine. Oh how I long to see your face, To hear your laugh and see your smile, As we only got to share our lives, For just a little while. As angels keep their watch up there, Please God just let Janine know, That I down here do not forget, I love and miss her so. I love you Janine and miss you so much, Allison. - June 16, 2003

WARD In loving memory of a dear Niece and Cousin Christa Ward Dec. 22, 1980 May 31, 2002 When I think of Christa, I remember her smile, Her quick wit, her laughter, the grin in her eyes. With quiet self-assurance, she charted her own course, Behind that gentle beauty lay a character of force. Christa was our shining star, a vibrant beacon of hope, She touched our lives in so many ways, more than she could know. But as I think of her today, as I so often do, I hold her light within my heart, and smile, as she might do. Janine White Lovingly remembered by Jean, Jerome, Janine, Joanne and Jillian. - June 02, 2003

WARD In loving memory of Christa Leigh Ward age 21 who died tragically May 31, 2002 A year has passed, dear Christa, Since the terror of that night, And though our hearts are broken, We keep searching for some light. Your gentle smile, we miss so much, Your unassuming ways, The twinkle in those sparkling eyes, That brightened many days. It's very hard to understand, The grief that life can send, Why all the hopes and dreams we shared, So abruptly had to end. Precious memories now will stay with us, We'll hold you in our hearts, And try to appreciate life's riches, Since you are such a part. Always loved and forever remembered Mom, Dad, Mark, Brad and Dawn. - June 02, 2003

What we wouldn't give to take one more walk, Or just quietly sit and have one more talk. Miss you Dad and always will For though you're gone we love you still. We often sit and think of him When we are alone, For memory is the only friend That grief can call its own; Like ivy on the withered oak, When other things decay, Our love for him will still be green And never fade away. WESTCOTT In loving memory of a dear Husband, Father & Grandfather Patrick J. March 7, 1948 June 14, 2002 age 54 years Husband: Beside your grave I often stand, With heart both crushed and sore, Silent till the sweet words come, "Not lost, but gone before." God knows how much I miss you, He counts the tears I shed, And whispers, "He only sleeps, Your loved one is not dead." So I`ll be brave, dear Pat, And pray to God each day, And when he calls me home to you, Your smile will guide the way. Father: Remember him with a smile today, He was not one for tears, Reflect instead on memories, Of all the happy years. Recall to mind the way he spoke, And all the things he said, His strength, his stance, the way he walked, Remember these instead. The good advice he`d give us, His eyes that shone with laughter, So much of him will never die, but live on ever after. As we loved you, so we miss you, In our memory you are near, Loved, remembered, longed for always, Bringing many a silent tear. Grandfather: Silently the angels took Poppy Into the mansion above, There shall he rest from earth`s toll Safe in the arms of God`s love. WOODFORD In fond and loving memory of a dear Husband, Father Father-in-law and Grandfather Frank Woodford who passed away June 25, 1998 This month comes back with sad regret, It brings back a day we won't ever forget. Husband I remember the day I met you, And the day God made you mine, I remember the day I lost you, And will till the end of time. As time goes on without you, And days turn into years. They hold a million memories, And a thousand silent tears. Your memory is my keepsake, With which I'll never part, God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart. Dad: Our hearts still ache with sadness, And silent tears still flow, The loneliness without you, No one will ever know. Our thoughts are always with you, Your place no one can fill, In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still. Three little words, "Forget-me-not", Don't seem so much, but mean a lot. Just a memory fond and true To show dear Dad, we think of you. So please God, take a message, To our precious Dad up above, Tell him that we miss him And give him all our love. Grandfather: To us you were so special, You were loving, kind and true, You will never be forgotten, For we thought the world of you. So easy to talk to And help you along, If we walk in his footsteps, We'll never go wrong. Till memory fades And life departs, You will live forever In our hearts.
