BISHOP - Big sister Ashley Chafe, Mommy and Daddy, Tonia Chafe and David are overjoyed to announce the safe arrival of their precious baby boy, Brayden David, at 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, weighing 6 lbs 15 oz. Welcoming Brayden are proud grandparents Dave and Mary Bishop, Albert and Gertrude Chafe and great-grandmother Jean Bishop. Also aunts Lisa Bishop and Lisa Chafe, uncles Brian Bishop and John Chafe and special cousin Morgan. Special thanks to all our family and friends for your love, gifts and warm wishes.

BISHOP-WILSON BISHOP - Patrick and Ginette of Reading, MA, USA are happy to announce the arrival of Luke Maxwell Bishop on September 13, 2009, weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz., a brother for Liam! BLUNDON - Andrew and Susanne Blundon are proud to announce the birth of their third child, Jonas Hedley. Jonas was born on September 29, 2009, at the WHC in St. John's, weighing 7 lbs., 5 oz and measuring 18.5". His big brothers, Mathias and Lewis, were very excited for him to finally arrive. Proud grandparents are Hedley and Mary Blundon of Paradise and Dave and Rose Ivany of Long Pond and great-grandparents Florence Blundon, John and Ida Brazil and Vina Ivany. Special thanks to Dr. O'Grady and staff as well as Dr. Caines and nurse Donna Bradley and all the other nurses and doctors who assisted with the delivery in the case room.

BURRY - Trevor, Joanne (nee Harding) and big sister Sarah are proud to announce the arrival of Adam Trevor, born on September 1st, 2009, weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz. Proud grandparents are John and Mary Harding and Frank Burry. Special thanks to Drs. Noseworthy and Cook, and to the case room and maternity floor staff for their excellent care and safe delivery.

CHIDLEY/RYAN - Carl and April are tickled pink to announce the birth of their first child Peyton Charlotte born on September 2, 2009, at 4:36 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 9 ozs. Also welcoming Peyton are first time grandparents Reg and Philomena Ryan, Calvert, Heather Chidley, Renews and Clarence Chidley, Renews, also Uncles Colin (Godfather) and Tyler Chidley, Godmother Joanne Kavanagh, Great-grandparents Bertha Williams, Bay Bulls, Jim and Angela Chidley, Renews, and many great aunts and uncles. Watching over Peyton are great-grandparents Anita (October 3, 2009) and Jim Ryan, Charlotte (Murphy) and Thomas Cahill, Alex Williams, also great uncle Don Murphy. A special thank you to Dr. Kum for your prenatal care, Dr. Bartellas for your safe delivery, the staff in the case room and 5NB. Mommy and Peyton would like to thank Daddy and Nanny Ryan for your great coaching through labor and delivery, and a special thank you to Daddy for his amazing love and support throughout the pregnancy, delivery and always. We love you!

COADY - We have been doubly blessed! Robert, Susan (McDonald) and big brother Andrew are thrilled to announce the arrival of our two healthy baby girls. Olivia Marilyn (7 lbs. 7 oz.) and Lauryn Elizabeth (5 lbs. 11 oz.) were born on September 29, 2009 at the Women's Health Centre. Welcoming Olivia and Lauryn are proud grandparents James and Olivera McDonald, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Colleen Cook and Dr. Kathleen Halley for their wonderful prenatal care. Many thanks to Dr. Cook, Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Pridham and Dr. Galgay for a safe delivery and to the nursing staff of the Case Room especially Krista, Reagan and Mona. To nurses Bev and Sue of the Maternal Fetal Assessment Unit, thank you for your care during our frequent visits. As well, thank you to the nursing staff of 5NB for their help during the early days. Mommy, Andrew, Olivia and Lauryn send special thanks to Daddy, Nanny and Poppy for all their support throughout the pregnancy and during this special time.

COLES - Brad & Allison (Butt) are pleased to announce the early arrival of their first child, Alexander Bradley on Sept 6, 2009, weighing 4 lbs. 11 oz. Also welcoming baby are proud grandparents Abe and Genny Coles, Clarence & Elaine Butt, and a large circle of family & friends. A very special thank you to the nurses and staff in the NICU, HSC

CORBETT - Jewelianna Alexandra Mary Corbett, was born on Thursday Dec. 10th, 2009, at 7:10 p.m. at the Timmins District Hospital in Timmins, Ontario, 9 lbs 1 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. Jewelianna was born to proud parents John and Julie Corbett of Moosonee, Ontario and their other five children, James, Aaron, Jeremy, Faith, and Evangeline who are equally excited. John is from Holyrood and is looking forward to bringing the whole family home next summer to visit proud grandparents Joseph and Mary Corbett of Duff's Road.

COSTELLO - Robin and Tracy are overjoyed to announce the safe arrival of their first child. Thomas Patrick was born at the Women's Health Centre on November 21, 2009, at 3:58 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 13.5 oz. Also delighted in welcoming Thomas are proud Grandma Joan Costello and Poppy Mick Walsh - both of Ferryland. Also very excited to welcome Thomas are his aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends. Mommy would like to thank Dr. A. McCarthy and Dr. C. Pike for their exceptional prenatal care and Dr. H. Kravitz and Dr. E. Mayo for a safe arrival. A special thank you to case room nurses Bev and Aunt Mona and to Nurse Jackie Au of 5NB. Special thanks is also extended to family for your help both before and after Thomas' birth.

COUSENS - Barry, Peggi (nee Hill), along with big sister Katie and big brother Alex are thrilled to announce our miracle, a precious baby girl, Emily Joyce, born on September 9, 2009, at 8:41 a.m., weighing 8 lbs. Emily is also welcomed by grandparents Jim and Joyce Cousens and watching over from heaven Jim and Pearl Hill. Emily is also welcomed by uncle Jamie and cousin Sarah Hill. Special and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Krista Brown for her excellent pre-natal care and ensuring that Baby Emily arrived safe and sound. Thanks also to Drs. White, Yagapan and O'Leary for assisting with Emily's arrival. Thank you to all of the nurses and staff of case room and 5NB for your care. We would like to thank all of our family and friends, especially Nanny Cousens and cousin Sarah for helping to look after Katie and Alex while awaiting for Emily's arrival.

COWAN - John and Lesley (Noftall) are thrilled to announce the arrival of their first child, Benjamin O'Donovan, born on September 22, 2009, at 11:19 pm, weighing 8 lbs, 15.8 ozs. Welcoming Benjamin are proud grandparents John and Gerri Cowan and Beverly Noftall, great-grandmother Mary Stokes, aunt Tina (Wade) Kelloway, and cousins Kayla, Hayley, and Joshua. Watching over Benjamin from heaven is his grandfather Bernard Noftall.

DALLEY - Big sister Emma, along with her Daddy and Mommy, Glen and Charlene (Pelley), is very proud to announce the safe arrival of her baby brother; Jack Gregory Glen, born on September 27, 2009, weighing 7 lbs. 2 ozs. Welcoming Jack from Twillingate are grandmothers Ruth Pelley and Daphne Dally while Poppy Edwin and Poppy Ronald guide him from above. Also thrilled to be welcoming Jack are a large group of family and friends. A very special thank you to our wonderful doctor, Dr. Patrick O'Shea, for your care and support. Also, thank you to Livinia, our case room nurse, for your motivation and the nurses of 5NB for your care.

FUDGE - Jason, Christa (Clarke), and big brother Gavin are thrilled to announce the arrival of Maria Lindsay, born September 1, 2009, at 0943 a.m. weighing 7 lbs 1 oz. Delighted grandparents are Richard & Pauline Kearley and Melvin & Geraldine Fudge. Special thanks to Dr. Kum and nurses of the case room and 5NB.

GAUDET - Michael and Robyn (nee King) are happy to announce the early arrival of Ryan Michael at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on September 24th, 2009, weighing 4 lbs. 2 ozs. Robyn is the daughter of Shirley and the late Ted. S. King

HUANG/HUTCHENS - Jacob is a proud big brother! Rebecca Audrey Lynn was born on September 10, 2009, at Queensway Carlton Hospital in Ottawa, weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz. and measuring 20.5 inches in length. She is the beautiful daughter of Karen Huang and Scott Hutchens of Ottawa. Rebecca is welcomed by her grandparents Don and Norma Hutchens of St. John's and Sandy and Angela Huang of Ottawa. Also welcoming Rebecca is her great-grandmother Florence Hutchens of St. John's, aunts Karen, Andrea, Ting and Heidi, uncles Sheldon, Dave and Frank and cousins Benjamin, Jacob Peter, Bradley, Ryan and Kayla and many other family and friends.

KENNEDY - Michael and Jennifer (Keefe) are so happy to announce the birth of their sweet baby boy Benjamin Michael Clayton Kennedy. Benjamin was born on September 3, 2009 at 8:15 pm at the Women's Health Centre, St. John's, weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz and measuring 20 inches long. He is welcomed with love by new grandparents Barbara & Michael Keefe and Glenys & Frank Kennedy, Uncle Jonathan, and Aunt Jill & Uncle Matt. Benjamin is also welcomed by his Great-Grandad Clayton Keefe in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Thank you to Dr. Fitzgerald and Dr. Pike for their excellent pre-natal care and to Dr. Strand for the safe delivery of Benjamin. Finally, a very special thank you is extended to case room nurse/ midwife Robyn Beaudry for her encouragement, expertise, and dedication in the hours leading up to Benjamin's birth. We look forward to a lifetime of happiness with our new baby boy!

KING - Brenda (nee Hatch) and Colin are excited to announce the birth of their first child, a precious baby boy, Jacob Colin Edward, born September 15, 2009, weighing 6 lbs. 11 ozs. Thrilled first time grandparents are Barry and Beverley Hatch and David and Wanda King. Also excited to welcome Jacob are great-grandmothers Alice Green and Daisy Peddle as well as Auntie Danielle and Uncle Matthew. Mommy would especially like to thank Daddy and auntie Danielle for their support and encouragement as Jacob made his way into the world. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the case room and 5NB for their exceptional care.

NORMAN - Mark and Karen Lambe are pleased to announce the arrival of their precious baby girl, Jenna Lynn Norman, born Sept. 12th, 2009 at 10:39 p.m., weighing in at 6 lbs, 13 oz. Proud grandparents are Dave Norman, Lynda Norman-Evans (Tony), Phyllis Lambe, Gerald Lambe (Paula). Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at the HSC who were truly wonderful throughout our "Little Dolly's" birthday.

NORRIS/MACINNIS - Susan (Norris) and Trevor MacInnis are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ainsleigh's baby sister, Molly Elsie MacInnis, born on September 23rd, 2009, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, weighing 7 lbs, 4 oz. Proud grandparents are Job & Bernice Norris of Sandy Point, N.L. and Donna and Norman MacInnis of Westville, N.S.

OATES - With patience and love, we waited for our baby girl. With joy and excitement we announce Emma Lucy to the world. Big brother Ethan, along with Mommy and Daddy, Jamie and Patricia (van Thiel) Oates, were thrilled top welcome Emma on September 16, 2009, weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. Proud grandparents Mary and John van Thiel of St. John's and Gladys and Ron Oates of Fermuse. Great-grandparents Joseph and Theresia van Thiel of Regina, Saskatchewan. Emma is also welcomed by her many cousins, aunts and uncles, especially her cousin Reana. A special thanks to mid-wife Jayme Safine, Dr. Mabel Greene and Dr. Heidi Kravitz for Mommy's excellent prenatal care. Special thanks also to the wonderful nurses and doctors of the case room who assisted with Emma's labour and quick delivery.

PARMITER - James and Dr. Jennifer (Jewer) are happy to announce the birth of their little boy, George Malcolm. George was born on September 30th, 2009, weighing 7 lbs. 11 oz., and measuring 20 inches long. Welcoming George is great-grandmother Mary Haire, and grandparents Malcolm and Joan Jewer and Jim and Alice Parmiter. Also welcoming George are Aunt Tracy and Uncle Rob, Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Paul, and Aunt Kristi and Uncle Randy. Sam, Alex, Ally, Jessica and Iain are all excited to play with their new cousin. Thanks to our family and friends for all of their love and support.

PITTMAN - Scott & Angie (Lannon) are thrilled to announce the birth of their beautiful baby girl. Ella Cecilia arrived September 2, 2009, weighting 8 lbs 8 oz. Welcoming Ella are first-time grandparents Frank & Laura Lannon, James & Trudy Pittman, Godmother Aunt Traci, Aunt Shanna & Uncle Jeff, and a large family of aunts, uncles & cousins. Special thanks to Dr. Krista Browne, for her pre-natal and delivery care.

REDDIN - Carson is finally a big brother!! Harry, Wanda (Barter) and Carson are thrilled to announce the birth of our precious baby boy, Cole William, born at the IWK Health Centre, Halifax, N.S., on September 25, 2009, weighing 7 lbs. 8 ozs. Proud grandparents are Glen and Beverley Barter, Bay Bulls, and Margaret Reddin, Kelowna, B.C. Also welcoming Cole are his special cousins, Kristen and Rebecca Brown, Beaverbank, NS and Sarah and Anna Mariotto, Kelowna, BC.

REYNOLDS - Robert and Goldie are thrilled to announce the birth of their sweet baby girl, Lily Anabelle Rose. Born at the Health Sciences Centre on September 21, 2009, at 9:53 a.m., weighing 9 lbs. 8 oz. Welcoming their first grandchild are proud grandparents Rose and Brendan Reynolds and Rosalie Penney. Watching over Lily from above is Poppy Edward Penney. Also celebrating her arrival are aunts and uncles Paula and Dean Maher (Edmonton) and Brian and Jennifer Reynolds (Fort McMurray), as well as great-grandmother Elizabeth Fewer. Lily is also welcomed by many family and friends. You make us so happy. We're so excited to start this new life with two new hands to hold.

RIDEOUT - Geoff, Carolyn and big sister Sophie are thrilled to announce the arrival of Maxwell Jacob, born September 20, 2009, at 1:41 a.m. Baby Max weighed in at 8 lbs., 11 oz. and was 20 inches long. Proud grandparents are Sylvia and Wilson Barfoot, and Don and Elsie Rideout. We would like to thank the doctors and staff in the Case Room at the Health Sciences Complex, especially Dr. Sean Murphy and the marvelous Dr. Cherry Pike. Max is doing great at home and we feel very blessed to have added a wonderful boy to our family.

SMITH - On September 21, 2009, Michael and Wendy (Monk) and a waiting room full of friends and family welcomed CASEY SUSAN GRACE. Sporting a shiner and weighing in at 7 lbs. 13 oz, Uncle John says she is already on her way to the 2030 Olympic Women's Hockey Team. Also welcoming Casey are proud grandparents Roland and Ernestine Monk, aunts Jennifer (Juan) and Lora (Kirk), uncles John, Dennis and Lorne, great-grandparents Fred and Cairine Woodman, and great-grandmother Bella Pearce. Watching over Casey from heaven are her grandmother Velma Smith, and Uncle Curtis. Many thanks to the wonderful nurses who took such great care of us, especially those in the NICU.

SMITH - Rick, Kelli-Ann (Clarke) and proud big sister Sydney are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their little baby boy, Mason Robert. Mason was born on September 16, 2009, weighing 9 pounds 2 ounces. Welcoming Mason are Grandmothers Bernice Clarke and Sarah Whitten, Uncles Ray (Tara) Clarke and Robert (Amanda) Smith, Great-Grandfather Robert Whitten and a VERY large circle of family and friends. Watching over our little one from heaven is Mason's guardian angel Poppy Ray Clarke. Rick and Kelli-Ann would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this joyous event.

TUCKER - Darren, Kathryn and big sister Ava are thrilled to announce the newest addition to their family, a beautiful little boy. Liam Eric was born on September 21, 2009, weighing 7 lbs. 15 oz. at the HSC in St. John’s. Liam is the first grandson for Wallace and Betty Pitcher and the fourth grandson for Eric and Judy Tucker. Thank you to all of our family and friends who welcomed Liam so joyously. Special thanks are extended to Dr. P. O’Shea and all the nursing staff, especially caseroom nurses Bev and Mandy. Finally, Mommy would like to thank Daddy for his continuous love and support.

WILLIS - Parents, Mary and Leigh, are excited to announce the birth of their first child, Aili Frances Renton Willis. Aili was born at 10:50 pm on September 19, 2009, in Doha, Quatar. She weighed 7 lbs. and 11 oz. Proud grandparents are Lillian and George Renton (both passed) of Cambridge, ON and Frances and Sterling Willis of Paradise, NL.
