AFONSO - Hello everyone! Meet my baby brother, Owen
Gerard Clarke Afonso. Here's a picture of me, Gavin, holding him.
He was born on September 19, 2004 at the Women's Health
Centre, weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. Mommy and Daddy, Julie (Clarke) and Alex,
are delighted to have a little playmate for me. Owen is grandchild number
19 for Nanny Violet Clarke in Little St. Lawrence and number five for Nanny
Angela Afonso in Quidi Vidi. They say our guardian angels - Poppy Gerard
Clarke and Poppy Alex Afonso - would be so proud of us. To all the nurses
and doctors who helped Mommy and Owen, a big thanks from all of us, and a
special thank you to my nannies who helped us survive the last 3 months!
ANTLE - It's a boy! Proud parents Paul and Laura (Chafe)

Richard. He arrived on September 15, 2004 at 3:14

BOYDE - Gregory and Treena (Parsons) are ecstatic about the arrival of their baby boy, Jacob David Parson. Jacob was born Sept. 20th at 01:30 and weighed in at 7 lbs, 5 ozs. It's the first grandchild for proud grandparents David and Violet Parsons and the first grandson for David and Christine Boyde so we're prepared for him to be spoiled! CAREW - Our family is now complete. It is with great joy
that big brother Brady, Roger and Anne Marie (Walsh) announce the safe, but
7 week early arrival of their precious little babies (twins) on Sunday,
September 26, 2004 at the HSC. Amber Marie was born
at 8:24 p.m., weighing 5 lbs., 10½ ozs, 18.3 ins and Ashton
Ronald arrived at 8:26 p.m., weighing 6 lbs., 12½ ozs, 19½ ins.
Proud grandmothers are Mary Carew and Agnes Walsh, both of Cape Broyle. Poppy's
John Walsh and Ronnie Carew keep special watch over their darling little grandchildren

birth of their daughter, Leah Johanna, at the Health Sciences
Centre on Sept. 7, 2004, weighing 7 lbs 2 oz. She is the first

Noreen Murphy of Stephenville. She is the first great-grandchild for Tom and

PHILPOTT - Dan and Patti (Power) are thrilled to announce
the birth of their beautiful boy Oliver Daniel Philpott, born 17th September
2004 weighing 8 lb 1.5 ozs. Oliver has so many people to love him
including proud grandparents Catherine and "Sandy" Sandeman,
Jim and Betty Philpott and Mary and Tom Power. Uncles Jim, Mike and Matt and
Aunts Anne and Tina are very excited about his arrival. Oliver is also lucky
enough to have two great grandmothers Clara Power and Patricia Curran to charm.

Oliver's safe arrival and to all of the postpartum staff for their outstanding

born on Sept. 24, 2004 3:24 a.m., weighing 8 lb 1 oz at the
