BRAGG - Mitchell and Deanne (Coady) are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Caroline Faith, born Oct. 11, 2011 at 9:12 am, weighing 8 lbs. 12 ozs. and measuring 54.5 cms. Welcoming Caroline are proud grandparents Anne & Ted Coady and Wanda & Len Bragg, greatgrandparents Ruby & Benvie Elliott and Joan Bragg along with an extended network of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Thank you to the doctors and nurses in the case room, the NICU, the ICU and 5NB for taking such good care of Caroline and Mommy during their extended stay. Many thanks as well to all our family and friends for all their love and support while we were in the hospital and once we got home, especially Nanny Coady who stayed with us until we were feeling better. Lots of love to everyone especially to our Guardian Angels in Heaven: Caroline (Kay) & Lawrence Carey, Vera & William Coady and Roy Bragg. xoxo

COOPER - Big brothers Cole and Roan are proud to announce the arrival of their sister, Lilly Catherine Marie, on October 20, 2011, weighing 8lbs. 8oz.  Lilly arrived at 1:10 p.m. to elated parents Brian and Pam.  Grandparents Charlie and Barb Fowler and Hazel and the late Wavell Cooper join in welcoming their precious granddaughter.  We wish to thank family and friends, Dr. O'Grady and Dr. T. Delaney, Dr. C. Pike and their respective staff.

COSTELLO - Amy and Darryl are happy to announce the arrival of their first child, baby boy Kane Duncan born on October 21, 2011, weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz. Welcoming Kane are proud Grandparents Ray & Joan Dalton, Duncan & Sandra Costello and Great-grandmother Mrs. Mary Angus Williams, as well uncles and aunts Ray, Alison & cousin Gracie, Guy, Brittany, Mae and Meghan. Also, already best buddy's with Kane, William Wallace. Thank you to all the nurses who helped us so much, Dr. O'Grady and Dr. Pike. A big thank you to all our family and friends for your kindness and support.

FLEMING - A brand new baby boy, small and sweet, has finally arrived to make our family complete! Darcy and Shannon are thrilled to announce the arrival of Grayson Neil on Oct 6th, 2011 at 8:35 a.m. weighing 8 lbs 9 oz. He is welcomed with love and excitement by grandparents James and Marie St. Croix, Madonna Fleming, great-grandmother Elizabeth Molloy and a large circle of family and friends. Watching over from heaven is the dearly missed Poppy, Neil Fleming. A big thank you to Dr Kravitz and all the staff in the HSC case room and 5th floor that took excellent care of us during our hospital stay.

HAYNES - Horray!!  Marshall has a baby sister, born October 30, 2011, to Janet and Wayne Haynes, Mackenzie Brenda Louise, weighing 7lbs. 12 oz. 5th grandchild for Jean and Tom Piercey, 2nd for Brenda and Wayne Haynes.

MARTIN - Chris and Vanessa (Gauci) proudly welcomed Charlie Christopher John on October 9, 2011 weighing 8 lbs. and 1Ž2 an ounce. Also welcoming Charlie are grandparents John and Selena Gauci (St. John's, NL) and John and Patricia Martin (Moncton, NB), his Aunties, Great Nanny B, and fur-brother Jabba. A special thanks to the medical staff of the Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful care.

MCGRATH - "Lots of joy, another boy".  Much to the delight of Jerry and Nancy (Lush), brothers, Hunter, Brayden, and Spencer: Anderson Jerry John, 9lbs. 1oz. made his thankful appearance on October 9, 2011 at the Janeway Child Care Centre.  Giving thanks for this special blessing are his nannies, poppies, other relatives & friends.  God bless Anderson - our precious thanksgiving boy.

PEARSON / BENSON - Pretty in pink and oh so sweet! From the top of her head to her cute tiny feet!
Terry Pearson and Lisa Benson are tickled pink to announce the birth of their precious little girl, Kaitlyn Rose, born October 20, 2011 in Calgary, Alberta, weighing 8 lbs. 2 0z. and 20.5 in. long. Kaitlyn is also welcomed with love and kisses by proud grandmother Daphne Benson, Aunty Paula, Uncle Simon, cousins Ben and Kyle Dingle, St. John's. Grandparents Larry & Mary Pearson, Aunt Holly, Uncle Bill & cousin Tyler Whyte, Alberta. Watching over Kaitlyn from heaven is her special Guardian Angel Poppy Bill Benson. Kaitlyn will be visiting her Newfie family and friends this summer.

SAUER/BATTEN - Cleve and Gillian, along with big brother Graham, are delighted to announce the birth of Ian Cleveland Batten Sauer on Sunday, October 9th, 2011 at 3:22 a.m. in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ian is also joyfully welcomed by grandparents Max and Wendy Batten (of St. John's) and Brian and Anne Marie Sauer (of Lipton, Saskatchewan).

SHARPE - Jason & Laura are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, HILLARY MARY SHARPE, born on October 20, 2011 at 3:41 am, weighing 7 lbs. 6 1/2 oz. Proud grandparents are John & Delores Wheeler and Wayne & Heather Sharpe. Great-grandparents are Mary Kinsella, Doug & Jean Moore, the late Marion Wheeler and the late Ron & Doris Sharpe. Welcoming Hillary are Auntie Kathleen, Uncle Jeff & Aunt Devon, a large circle of family & friends and the family dog, Tank. Special thanks to Dr. Pike for excellent prenatal care, the outstanding Case Room RNs Lisa & Denise and 5NB staff at the HSC, St. John's, NL.

WARREN - Auburn and Patricia (Walsh) are proud to announce the birth of Fintan Michael Ernest on October 13, 2011 at 5:07 pm. Weighing in at 8 lbs. 15 ozs. and measuring 54 cms long. Protective older brothers include Liam, Aidan, Conor and Daniel. Delighted Grandparents are Eileen and the late Michael Walsh and Joan and the late Ernest Warren. Thank you to Dr. Kravitz for prenatal care and the caseroom staff for a safe delivery.

YOUNG-HAYES - Lesley Young and Damien Hayes are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Lucy Grace, born on October 2, 2011, at 12:04 a.m. weighing 8 lbs. 8 ozs. Welcoming Lucy are grandparents Gerry and Michelle Young and Alice and the late Damien Hayes, Sr., second time great-grandparents James and Geraldine Young, St. John's, a special cousin Olivia, and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and many guardian angels. Special thanks to Dr. Kum and Dr. King and case room staff for their exceptional care.
