ABBOTT - Michael, Jennifer (Street) and big sister Rachel are excited to announce the arrival of Jonathan Edmund David Abbott, born November 19, 2005, at 11:05 p.m., weighing 9 lbs. 15 oz. Jonathan is also welcomed by grandparents Dave and Ethel Street and Edmund and Joan Abbott. A special thank you to Dr. Jeff White for the safe delivery of our second child. A big thank you to Dr. Colleen Cook and all the Case Room nurses for their support and kindness during the labour and delivery. Mommy would also like to thank Daddy and Aunt Tina for being great coaches.

ANTHONY - Kelly and Don welcome beautiful, healthy PATRICK EDMUND WALTER to the family. Patrick was born in St. John's on November 26th, 2005 at 1:50 a.m. weighing 8 lbs. 10¾ ozs. Baby William welcomes little brother Patrick to the Family Pit Crew! Vroom, vroom... Thank you to the many people who helped during and since Patrick's arrival, especially the Bown, O'Dea, Quinlan, and Anthony families. What a wonderful early Christmas present!

ASH - Hi! My name is Georgia Clare Ash and I'm what all the fuss is about. I made the grand appearance on November 10th at 1:38 p.m., weighing in at a whopping 8 lb., 10 oz. Mommy Corinne, Daddy Stephen and Big Brother Colby are so happy they can hardly stop hugging and kissing me for one minute. My grandparents: Clara & Lambert Miller; Jean & Kevin Ash; and great-grandmother; Pearl Ash just keep telling everyone of my arrival over and over again. I also have a whole bunch of aunts, uncles and cousins fighting over who gets to hold me. So a big special thanks to all for your fond wishes, in particular to Dr. Patricia Roache and the wonderful Health Science Centre staff in the Maternal Assessment Unit, Case Room and the Maternity Ward.

AYLWARD - Blair and Norma Aylward are thrilled to announce the arrival of CHASE LOUIS FABIAN at the WHC on November 18th, 2005, weighing 8 lbs., 1½ oz. Proud grandparents are Frances Aylward of St. Lawrence, and Joe and Hilda Keating of Marystown. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the WHC for their excellent care. Chase is welcomed by brother Marc, Uncle A.J., Aunt Tracey, and cousin Matthew, as well as many family and friends. Blair and Norma would also like to thank all of their wonderful family and friends for their calls, gifts and visits. It has been greatly appreciated.

BANFIELD - Lloyd, Michelle (Price) and big brother Luke proudly announce the arrival of precious GRACE ELIZABETH. Born on 09 Nov. 2005 at the IWK, Halifax, weighing 7 lbs., 10 oz. BILES - Baby Boy born to Hazel Biles & Lewis. Thomas Francis November 4th 2005, 8 lbs., 13 oz. Proud Grandparents Roger & Lee Biles of St John's, and Daniel & Viola Lewis of Brampton On.

BROPHY/CURRAN - Joe and Denise are pleased to announce the safe arrival of their baby daughter. Sarah Laura Bridget was born on November 2, 2005 at 2:37 p.m. at the W.H.C. in St. John's, weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. Sarah is welcomed by her two big sisters, Krystal and Keisha, and her two big brothers, Devin and Daniel. Proud grandparents are Ed Curran of Fermeuse and Nina Brophy of Springdale. Watching over Sarah from heaven are two special grandparents, Bernice Curran and Charles Brophy. Thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses in the caseroom and the nursing staff at 5NB. Also, a special thank you to daddy for being such a wonderful coach and being so supportive over the past few months.

CLARKE/BROGAN - Chris and Carol (Manchester, England) are delighted to announce the birth of their son, Cillian Jason Clarke, born November 30, 2005, weighing seven pounds. Very proud first time grandparents are Debra Stokes (Brian Worsh), Manchester, England; Gary Clarke, St. John's; and Annette and Patrick Brogan, Cork, Ireland. Also welcoming Cillian are great-grandfather, Ralph Stokes, St. John's; great-grandmother, Mrs. Ann Brogan, Tipperary, Ireland; uncle Jason Clarke, Japan and aunts Ann Marie and Laura Brogan, Ireland. A wonderful Christmas present for all of us!

COOK - Ed and Phyllis (Walsh) are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of their first child, a precious baby girl, CALLIE MARIA, born November 11, 2005 weighing 7 lbs., 13 oz. Sharing in their joy are first time grandparents John and Catherine Walsh, and seasoned grandfather Edward Cook Sr. Watching over from heaven is Callie's grandmother and guardian angel, Alice Cook. A special thanks to the case room and 5NB nurses, to Drs. Pike and Kravitz, and to our family and friends for their love and support. CROFT - Shawn and Robyn are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their first child, a beautiful baby girl, Ava Robyn born at the H.S.C. on November 9, 2005 3:19 a.m., weighing 8 lbs., 2.6 ozs. Proud grandparents Robert & Sheila Benmore and Ray & Nellie Croft. Ava is also welcomed by many more family and friends. Crosbie/Hynes - Mark and Susan are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Sarah Catherine, on November 10, 2005 at Women and Children's Hospital Vancover, B.C, weighing 7 lbs.13 oz. CUMMINGS - David and Melissa (Morgan) are thrilled to announce the arrival of their first child, a precious daughter, Kennedy Morgan, born at 11:00 a.m. on November 24th, 2005 at the IWK Grace Maternity Hospital in Halifax, NS., weighing 10 lbs., 14 ozs. Extremely proud grandparents are Bob and Gloria Morgan, Paradise, NL and Duncan and Josephine Cummings, Creignish, NS.

FLEMMING - Noreen, Chris and big sister Charlotte are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby girl Colette. Born on November 25, 2005, weighing 7 lbs. 7 ozs., Colette Sheila is also welcomed by proud grandparents Patrick and Sheila Dalton (Cape Broyle) and Ron and Joan Anderson (St. John's). A special thank you to Dr. Roche, Dr. Kum, and special nurse Regina in the case room and all the nurses on 5NB. FORAN - James and Nancy-Beth (nee Evans) are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Allison Beth, 7 lbs. 10 oz., on November 11, 2005 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Proud grandparents Margot and John Evans of St. John's, Mabel Foran of Gander and great-grandmother Ethel Evans of St. John's.

GEARY - Emily (nee Gallant) and Jason Geary of Adams, New York are proud to announce the birth of their son, Nathan James, on November 8, 2005 at 10:01 A.M. Nathan was born at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, New York. He weighed a whopping 10 lbs., and was 22 inches long. Nathan is welcomed by his grandparents, Peter and Eleanor Geary, of St. John's, NL, and Spud and Lucille Gallant of Charlottetown, PEI. He is also welcomed by his aunts, Jennifer Geary and Gillian March, Uncle Kevin and Cousin Kyle. Mommy and Nathan send extra special thanks to Daddy for all of his love and support. Special thanks to all of our family and friends in Newfoundland for all of their best wishes - we look forward to seeing everyone at Christmas.

GOUGH - Brian, Rossann and Big Sister Katie are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of Tyler John Ross on November 29th, 2005, weighing 8 lbs, 4 ozs. Tyler is welcomed by proud grandparents John & Ellen Gough (Mount Pearl) & Ross and Juanita LeDrew (Boyd's Cove). Also welcoming Tyler are Aunts and Uncles: Cathy (Mike), Colette (Brendan), Anne Marie (George), Bob (Cindy) and Cousins: Julie, Ryan, Lindsay, Melissa & Wesley and of course Hershey, our family pet. Thanks to all of our family and friends for their well wishes, gifts and visits. And a special Thank You to Nanny Nita for looking after Tyler, Katie and Mommy when we came home from hospital.

HANDRIGAN - Sean and Andrea are overjoyed to announce the arrival of their precious daughter, Julia Elizabeth, at 7:53 pm on November 14, 2005, weighing 7 lbs, 10 ozs. Proud grandparents are Frank and Dorothy Handrigan and elated first time grandparents John and Betty Willar. Also welcoming Julia are uncles Steve, Michael and Christopher, aunts Dana and Meghan, cousin Tyler and great-grandparents Blanche and Jack Butler and Mary Handrigan, as well as many other family and friends. Many thanks to Dr. Crane for her excellent prenatal care, Drs. Kravitz and Carpenter for a safe delivery and all medical and nursing staff who helped bring our little angel into the world.

HANN - Earl and Jill nee Nash are delighted to announce the birth of their second child, Bradley Earl, born Nov. 26, 2005, at 9:05 PM at the WHC, weighing 6 lbs. Delighted by Bradley's arrival are his big brother Michael, Grandparents Theresa and John Nash, Kathleen and Earl Hann, Uncle Junior and Great-Grandmothers Theresa Careen and Harriett Hann. Thank you to family and friends for all of their best wishes.

HILLIER - Scott and Nicole Hillier are pleased to announce the arrival of their first child, a son, Joshua Andrew, at the Sturgeon Community Hospital, Alberta on November 10, 2005. Welcomed with love from grandparents Hubert and Gaye Hillier, Richard and Rose Monette, uncle Dale, uncle Kellie and cousin Jesse.

HOBBS/MENCHINTON - Wendy, Sean and big sister Chelsie are thrilled to announce the arrival of their precious son and brother. Nathan Munden was born at the WHS on November 18, 2005, weighing 6 lbs. 2 oz. Proud grandparents are Hazel Hobbs (Mount Pearl), Roma and Autumn Menchinton (Kilbride); great-grandmother Melina Gosse (Whitbourne) and watching over Nathan from heaven, Poppy Hobbs. Special thanks to Dr. Roche and the staff at 5NB, as well as Daddy and Nanny Hobbs for their support during the delivery.

IVANY/PRINCE - Nancy, Doug and big sisters Grace and Claire are thrilled to announce the arrival of Eve Margaret. Eve was born November 23, 2005, weighing 7 lbs. 1 oz. at the C.W.H.C. in Grand Falls-Windsor. Proud grandparents are John and Barbara Ivany of Paradise and Lindsay and Margaret Prince of Bishops Falls.

KEILEY - Tim, Jackie and big sister Sydney are thrilled to welcome Lauren Jacqueline to the family. Lauren was born November 28, 2005, and weighed 8 lbs. 7 ozs. Also welcoming Lauren are grandparents Bill and Madeline Heffernan and Laurence and Mary Keiley and Aunt Jenn.

KENNEDY - Sean and Robin (nee Chipman) are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of their first child, Madeline Rose, born 11:06 p.m. on November 17, 2005, weighing 6 lbs. 13 ozs. at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Madeline is welcomed by very proud grandparents Doug and Geri Kennedy (Mt. Pearl), Rosalie Chipman (St. John's), Gerry and Linda Chipman (St. John's), aunts April Kennedy (Toronto) and Gillian Chipman (Toronto), and her great-grandparents Peter and Imelda Kennedy (Mt. Pearl). Also welcoming Madeline are her canine big sister, Bailey and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends. Thank you to all who helped us welcome Madeline to the world, and to the many people who sent us all the beautiful and thoughtful gifts that we received. Proud new parents, Larry and Danielle (Whelan), are very happy to announce the arrival of their precious baby girl Chelsea Elizabeth, born at York Central Hospital, in Toronto, Ontario on Friday, Nov. 18, 2005 at 6:20 p.m., weighing 8 lbs. 5 oz. Watching over Chelsea from heaven is her guardian angel, Poppy Frank Whelan. Chelsea is the first granddaughter for grandparents Diane Whelan of St. John's and Dave & Carol Ann Laughlin of Toronto. Welcoming Chelsea are Aunts and Uncles - Leanne & Ron, Nicky & Edward, Francine. Chelsea looks forward to meeting her three cousins Ethan, Dylan, Declan. MILLER - Jonathan and Laurita are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Lauren Theresa, born on November 14th, 2005, weighing 7 lbs 5 oz. NOFTALL - Jamie and Michelle (Noftall) are proud to announce the birth of their first child, a healthy baby boy, James Daniel. James was born on Monday, Nov. 21st at 2:53 am. He weighed 8 lbs. 14¾ oz. and measured 20½" long. Special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Fontaine for excellent prenatal care, caseroom nurses Regina and Lori for James' safe delivery, the nurses on 5NB, especially Cathy and student nurses Sarah and Robyn. James is welcomed by grandparents Cathy (and the late Ron) Noftall, Betty Noftall, and Brig Noftall; great-grandparents Leonard (and the late Fanny) Inniss of Victoria and William (and the late Mary) Walsh of Chapel's Cove, as well as a wide circle of family and friends.

PEARCE/COOK - Neil Pearce and Jean Cook are pleased to announce the arrival of their third child, Mara Joan, born November 16th, 2005 at WHC, weighing 7 lbs., 3 ozs. Delighted by their sister's arrival are big brothers John and Luke and Grandmothers Joan Cook (the late Cyril Cook) and Dolores Pearce (the late Robert Pearce). POWER - Des and Brenda (White) are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful daughter, Molly Sarah, born November 22, 2005 at 2:58 p.m., weighing 7 lbs, 9 ozs. Proud first-time grandparents are Brendan and Mary White, Northern Bay and for the ninth time, Doug and Sheila Power, North River.

PRICE - Jeff & Jennifer, of Hatchet Cove, are proud to announce the birth of their son, Noah Jeffrey, born on Nov. 4, 2005, weighing 7 lb., ½ oz. Thank you to the doctors and nurses on OBS unit at the Health Sciences.

REDDY (Hogan) - Jimmy, Ann Marie and big brother Nicholas are delighted to announce the arrival of Erin Elizabeth. Born on November 11th, 2005, weighing 6 lbs, 15 oz. This is the 8th grandchild for Jack and Elizabeth Hogan of Torbay and the 4th grandchild for Mary Lahey, also of Torbay. A special thanks to Dr. Roche for her excellent prenatal care and to nurse Karen in the case room for her special help in the delivery. Mommy wants to thank Daddy for his love and patience during the pregnancy and delivery and to Nicholas who is turning out to be an excellent big brother already.

SHORTALL - John and Rhonda (Way) and big brother Jacob are extremely proud to announce the arrival of Alexander Michael Shortall. Alexander was born Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 12:50 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 11 ozs. at the HSC, St. John's. Alexander is the seventh grandchild of Frank and Elaine Shortall of St. John's and the tenth grandchild of the late Frederick and Ruby Way of Grand Falls-Winsor. Many thanks for all the love and support of family and friends. Alexander is blessed to have you.

STOYLES - Mike and Brenda are pleased to announce the arrival of their twin boys on November 4, 2005. Joseph Michael, 4 lbs. 11 ozs, was born 7:32 pm and Peter Thomas, 4 lbs, was born 7:45 pm. Proud grandparents are Mike and Marie Stoyles, St. John's and Joe and Frances Coombes, Portugal Cove South. Thanks to Dr. Pike, Dr. O'Dea, Dr. Moore and caseroom nurse Regina, with a special thanks to all the NICU nurses and doctors for taking such great care of Joseph and Peter.

TULIPANO/GEORGE - Chris and Nancy of Perth, ON are happy to announce the safe arrival of their first child, Michael William, born November 9, 2005, weighing 5 lbs. 14 oz. Proud grandparents are Wilfred and Pearl George, Mt. Pearl and Clifford Tulipano, Hamilton, ON.

UNGER - Born to Juan Pedro and Jennifer (King) on November 19, 2005, in Ottawa, a daughter, Lauren Mae Adriana, 8 lbs. 15 ozs. A granddaughter for Muriel and Arthur King and Tom's and Leonor Unger of Lima, Peru. A cousin for Alyssa.

WALSH - Michael and Janine (Walker) are thrilled to announce the birth of their first child, a precious daughter, Brooklyn MacKenzie, born November 28, 2005 at Etobicoke Hospital, Toronto, ON, weighing 7 lbs. 9 oz. Extremely proud grandparents are Rita Walsh, St. John's, NL, Bronwyn Jones, Manchester, England and Derek Walker, Peachland, B.C. Watching over Brooklyn from heaven is Poppy John Walsh. Overjoyed to welcome Baby Brooklyn are her cousins - John, St. John's and Tatiana, Ofelia, Jessica and Sofia of B.C. Special thanks to our moms, Rita and Bronwyn who took turns staying with us and showing us their unending support and enthusiasm. We will be forever grateful.

WOODFORD- Edward and Heather are proud to announce the arrival of their beautiful daughter, Molly Beth. Molly was born on November 17th, 2005, weighting 8 lbs. Welcoming Molly are excited first time grandparents Iris and Patrick Dalton of Colliers and Auntie Sue. Molly is the eighth grandchild for Elizabeth and the late William Woodford of Lakeview and a new niece for Kelly, Rose, Billy and Dominic (deceased). Molly is also the first great grandchild for Patricia Dalton of Harbour Main. A special thanks goes to Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Roche, Dr. Perry, and the case room staff at the Health Sciences Center.
