Gerald and Kim (nee Bishop) are proud to announce the birth of their first child, a precious baby girl. Catherine Grace was born at the Women's Health Centre on November 25, 2001, at 3:08 am., weighing 7 lbs. 15¾ ozs. Proud grandparents are William and Daphne Bishop, Coley's Point (formerly of Mount Pearl) and Mary Dawe, St. John's. Smiling down upon Catherine from Heaven is Poppy Pete. We would like to extend our thanks to the nurses and doctors in the caseroom, and 5NB for their excellent care. Chris and Desiree (Butler) joyfully announce the birth of their second child, a beautiful daughter, on November 20, 2001, Mckenna Christyn Rosemary is welcomed by big sister Delaney and second time grandparents Walter and June Butler, Clarenville and sixth time grandmother Molly Drover, Barrie, Ontario. HALLIDAY - Twins! Barry and Kathleen (nee Woolcock) are thrilled to announce the birth of their precious twin boys. On November 17, 2001 Joshua Barry was born at 6:11 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. 6 oz. Matthew William arrived shortly after at 6:59 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. proud grandparents are Roy and Carol Halliday of Job`s Cove, and Byron and Susan Woolcock of Madoc, Ontario. Many thanks to Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Tennent, and also to nurse Lisa Daley for her support through the labour and delivery.

Tired of idling in Pit Row, Alex Drodge roared across the finish line at 11:35 am., November 11, 2001. Seven weeks early, the 5 lb., 42 cm, Baby Grand Prix Champion, Alexander Barry Richard Hennebury Drodge was welcomed by Dad and Mom Steve Drodge and Christine Hennebury. The victory party included grandparents Don and Shirley Drodge and Carol-Ann and Peter Hennebury, Aunt Denise and fiance Dan, Aunt Anglea and boyfriend Adam, Uncle Dave, Aunt Anita and cousin Lauren (born August 30, 2001) in France, great-grandmother Rita Little, Disney Orientation Supervisors Kevin and Krista, Team Sponsor Barry. Thank you to Drs. Kum Parsons, Kamra and the caseroom staff (especially nurse Denise), and to Dr. Suga, James Matthew and Alicia Suttton for taking care of Mom, to Dr. Huntsman and the NICU nurses for taking care of Alex, to Olive Goobie for her support. Also great-grandparents Elizabeth Lake, Jack and Mary McDonald, and many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Glenn and Joanne (nee Melvin) are thrilled to announce that at 10:44 pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at the HSC, God blessed them with a precious gift, a beautiful little girl, Kaitlyn Isabella, weighing 7 lbs. 14 ozs.. Kaitlyn is the fifth grandchild of Agnes Melvin, Mobile and the second grandchild of Margaret Walsh, Marystown.
