Chaytor / Wills
Fred and Sandra (Wills) are proud to announce the birth of their son, Eric James, on February 19, 1999, weighing 9 lbs. Eric is welcomed by sister Beth and grandparents Charlie and Mae Chaytor and Jack and Sally Wills of Mount Pearl. Thanks to Dr. E. Mate-Downer for early prenatal care. Extra special thanks to Dr. Bob Miller and midwife Robyn Beaudry for  their exceptional care and support before, during and after Eric's birth.

Driscoll / Gillingham
Andrew and Doreen (Gillingham) are proud to announce the safe arrival of their second daughter, Jennifer Lauren, on Feburary 23, 1999, weighing 8 lbs. 3 ½ ozs. Sister Christina is delighted by the new addition to the family and will surely be a big help to Mommy and Daddy. Proud grandparents are Dorman and Daphne Gillingham and William and Diane Driscoll. A special thank you to Dr. Pat O'Shea and Dr. Cherry Pike, as well as caseroom and 2nd floor nursing staff at the Grace Hospital.

McCormack / Williams
Making his first Newfoundland appearance, Nicholas William. The stork arrived 3 months early, February 11, 1999, with Nicholas weighing in at 1 lb. 11 ozs.. Proud parents are Suzanne (Williams) and Bill, formerly of St. John's, now stationed in Petawawa, Ontario. Grandparents Albert and Clarice Williams, Alice McCormack, and great-grandmother Annie Mahon. Special thanks to Drs. Nimriod, Blaney MacMurry, Walker and staff; Guardian Angels Brenda, Denise and Elaine; and all staff at Ottawa General Neonatal Unit. Nicholas and Mommy would like to thank Daddy, Nanny Williams and Aunt Lorna for their love and support during their hospital stay, and to our families and friends for their help and prayers, XOX.

Murphy / Skirving
Howard and Judy (Skirving) are pleased to announce the arrival of their first child, Allison Claire, on February 16, 1999, at 8:02 pm, weighing 8 lbs. 7 ozs. First grandchild for John and Eileen Murphy; 14th grandchild for Doug and Nellie Shirving; 8th great-grandchild for Jessie Dingwell. Thanks to Dr. Pike, caseroom nurses, especially Marina and Charlene and staff of 2nd floor, Grace Hospital. 

Power / Dooley
Gerry, Barb and Shane Dooley announce with great pleasure and pride the birth of  their first grandchild and nephew. Brandon was born February 17, 1999 at the Grace General Hospital, weighing in at 9 lbs. 11 ozs and 21¾ inches in length. Proud parents are Jackie and Jason. Hugs and kisses! Gramma, Poppy and Uncle Shane. P.S. Bowlers Beware! Rumor has it coaching lessons have already begun by Poppy Dooley.
