Heaven is his special Guardian Angels, grandma Jean Bedford and great-poppy
Thomas Allen. Also thrilled with Harrison's arrival are his Uncle Tom Bedford
and friend, Kathleen McFayden (Toronto, ON), his great-grandmothers Kathleen
Allen (Mount Pearl, NL) and Adela Bedford (Alameda, California), as well as
his canine friends Elwood, Gertie and Abby. Harrison would like to thank Ottawa
Valley Midwives for the excellent care provided to mommy. A special thank you
to daddy for all his love and support to mommy.
TURNER - Ken, Tracy (nee Chafe) and Big Brother Nicholas
are thrilled to announce the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Delaney
Arlene. Delaney was born December 5, 2005 at 6:04
a.m. at Victoria General Hospital; weighing 10 lbs., 6 oz. Proud Grandparents
are Alt & Marg Chafe and Cyril & Isabel Turner and Great-Grandmother
Agnes Madden all from Maddox Cove. Nicholas would like to thank Grandma Chafe
who overcame her fear and flew to British Columbia for 4 weeks to take care
of him while Mommy and Daddy went to get Delaney. Also thank you to Grandpa
Chafe who overcame his fear of no Grandma for 4 weeks!
WARREN - Don and Lisa (Petten) are delighted to announce
the safe arrival of their first child, Kyle Benjamin, born
on December 27, 2005 at 7:53 pm, weighing 6 lbs 14 oz. Welcoming
Kyle are proud first time grandparents Tom and Jennie Warren, Paradise, and
Ern and Myrtle Fowler, Foxtrap. Kyle is also welcomed by two very special great-grandparents
Florence Petten, Foxtrap, and Levi Warren, Chapel Arm. A special thank-you
to Dr. Kravitz and Dr. Garber for their excellent prenatal care, and to the
caseroom and 5NB doctors, nurses, and staff.
WHITAKER - Erin Grace Whitaker, born December 20,
Stephanie and Myles. Proud grandparents, Jill and Richard Whitaker and Tom
and Ada Jacobs.
WILKINS - Richard, Kelly (Byrne), Ethan and Ally are thrilled
to announce the arrival of Owen Richard, born on December
19th, 2005, weighing 9 lb., 13 oz. Owen is joyfully welcomed
by his grandparents Nelson and Margaret Wilkins, Great Uncle John, Tim, Aunt
Susan, Uncle Steve, Aunt Laura, Uncle Brian, Aunt Julie, and cousins Kim and
Jen. Special thanks to Daddy, a wonderful father and husband. We wish to also
extend thanks to nurse Kathy, Dr. Kravitz, Dr. Collins, Dr. Pridham and the
nurses of 5NB for helping to bring Owen safely into this world.
WILLIAMS - Tonya & Darryl Williams are thrilled to announce
the arrival of their little princess, Dakota Marie. Dakota
was born in Edmonton, AB on December 22, 2005, weighing 8
lbs., 3 oz. Welcoming Dakota are her proud grandparents Valerie and Chris Chafe
and Bonnie and James Williams, Auntie Shawnte, April and Carolanne and Uncle
Jim, Christopher and Brett. Special thanks to all friends and relatives for
their love and support.
YOUDEN - It's a Girl! Kirk and Raquel (Hatch) are thrilled
to announce the arrival of Madison Calista on December
5th, 2005. Madison (a.k.a. Snowflake) weighed in at 8 lbs.
10 ounces and provided an early Christmas present for Nan and Poppy Hatch (Lil
and Pete) and Nan Youden (Pat). A big thank you is extended to family and friends
for all their kind thoughts, love and support. Special thanks to Dr. Crane
and all the nurses (especially Shannon for all the pictures) and doctors at
the Janeway. Very special thanks to Dr. Susan Furlong for the support, excellent
