AYLWARD - Jimmy and Shirley are thrilled to announce the birth of their son James Francis Patrick who was born April 1, 2011 at 7:56 pm, weighing 8 pounds 7 ounces. James was welcomed by his big brother Tyler who was happy to have a healthy little brother. Also greeted with lots of hugs and kisses from his Grandparents: Elizabeth and Patrick Aylward (Port Kirwin) and Nanny Assumpta Lawes and the late Francis Power (Renews / St. John's), also Great-Grandmother's Nelly Conway (Renews) and Margaret Aylward (Port Kirwin). Also welcomed by his Special Nan Rita Hagan and many other family and friends. Thank you to Doctor Bartellas and Doctor Kravitz for their great pre-natal care. Thank you to the Caseroom staff for their support with a safe delivery of Baby James. Thank you to Julie, Deanne, and Tyler for their help, as well as our other family and friends for your love and support throughout the last year.
CULL/WARREN - "So enchanted with you were the wind and the rain That they whispered the sound of your wonderful name." Ruben Christopher Cull. Born April 28, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's. Daddy and Mommy, Shannon Cull and Renée Warren are so happy our precious boy is finally here! Also welcoming Ruben are Grandparents Roger and Audrey Cull, Eugene and Marilyn Warren, Auntie Charmaine, Uncle Steve, Jenna, Uncle Christopher, Auntie Rachie, Charlie, Uncle Bryan, Auntie Heather and Jaxson. Ruben is blessed with three Great-Nannies Mrs. Lorie Cull, Mrs. Frances Rideout and Mrs. Mary Warren. Looking down from heaven are Great-Nanny Bertha Budgell, and Great-Poppies Raymond Budgell, Freeman Cull, Eric Rideout and Raymond Warren. A special thank you to all the staff who took care of Mommy and Ruben at the hospital, especially case room nurses Bev and Robyn and the nurses of the NICU at the Janeway. To Daddy - you are our hero always!
DALTON - Amanda, Chris and big brother Owen are tickled pink to announce the arrival of Katelyn Lorraine to the world on April 29, 2011, at 3:22 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 12 ozs. She is welcomed by grandparents Harry and Ethel Dalton, Tammy Carew, Wayne Croft and from heaven Poppy Carew, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mommy and Daddy would like to send out a huge thank you to case room nurse Loran Kearney, Dr. O'Grady and Dr. Hartman for the safe arrival of Katelyn and Dr. Kravitz for excellent prenatal care. Katelyn and Mommy would like to thank Daddy for his love, patience and encouragement during the pregnancy and delivery. Also to Nana Carew for taking care of us while we waited for our princess to arrive.
HOBEN/MOULAND - Big sister Sophia, along with parents John and Sylvia, are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl Norah Sara Hoben, born April 5, 2011, weighing 7 lbs., 4 oz. Proud grandparents are Winston and Bernice Mouland and Clarence and Ruby Hoben of Musgrave Harbour. Many thanks to the doctors, residents and nurses in the case room and on 5NB.
MCGRATH/MULLINS - Sean McGrath and Karla Mullins are thrilled to announce the arrival of their precious daughter Isabelle Mary who was born on April 28, 2011 at 1:46 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 2 ozs. at the Health Science Centre. Very proud first time grandparents Angela McGrath and Mary Grouchy extend a special welcome to their granddaughter Isabelle. Great-grandparents Joe McGrath, Patrick Mullins, as well as uncles Donny McGrath, Patrick Mullins, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins are excited to have this precious little gift in their family. Watching over Isabelle from Heaven is her grandfather Gerard Mullins, great-grandparents Catherine McGrath, Carmel Mullins, Robert and Margaret Grouchy. Lots of love from Godmother Erin Power and Godfather Patrick McGrath, extended family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Holden, Dr. Bartellas, nurses, and staff for all their care. Extra special thanks to Daddy for all his love and support in helping Mommy while waiting for my arrival.
MONES - Heather and Patrick are thrilled to announce the birth of their first child, Braden Gerald, born April 5, 2011, weighing 6 lbs. 10 oz. at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, Alberta. Very excited are Braden's Newfoundland and Yukon families: Grandparents Cindy Marshall, Wayne Ivany (Paulette) and Judy Mones; Aunts Krista Hillier (Shawn) and Courtney Mones (Gareth Pollock); Uncle Aaron Mones, cousin Kamron Hillier; great-grandparents Gwen and Vivian Marshall, Mary and Bill Ivany, Rosemary Gillan and Olga Campbell. Watching over Braden from heaven above is Poppy Gerald Mones.
MONK - On April 3, 2011, Juan Casanova and Jennifer Monk and their four-legged family welcomed 9 lb. 8 oz. MAYA DOLORES. Also welcoming Maya are proud second time grandparents Roland and Ernestine Monk, Aunt Wendy (Mike), cousin Casey, Uncle John, and great-grandparents Fred and Cairine Woodman. Grandparents Javier Humberto Pino and Guadalupe Casanova de Pino, along with uncles Jose (Lizz), Javier (Elia), cousin Javier Eduardo, and great-grandfather Fernando Casanova Gomez anxiously await Maya's first visit to Campeche, Mexico. Watching over Maya from heaven is great-grandmother Dolores Delgado de Casanova. Special thanks to nurses Lois and Carol Ann, Dr. Krista Brown for her pre-natal care and Dr. Joanne White for her excellent care during the delivery.
MORAN - Stephen and Jennifer (Pouch Cove) are proud to announce the birth of their second child, Kennedy Edith, who was born April 15, 2011, at 4:24 p.m., weighing 7.7 lbs. She has been long anticipated by her big brother Cole who is quite pleased to have a little sister of his very own! Kennedy is welcomed by her grandparents Nick and Sylvia Moran and Bursell and Carol Bragg, along with a large circle of family and friends. Mommy sends a big "Thank You" to Dr. Colleen Kirby and Dr. Tim Strand for their wonderful prenatal care, to Dr. Cherry Pike for a smooth, quick delivery, and to Daddy for his endless patience and understanding. It was a long nine months, but she was certainly worth those extra 10 days of waiting!
REDFERN - Linda (Manning) and Geoff are proud to announce the arrival of their son, Nicholas Owen Peter, born April 20th, 2011, weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz. Also welcoming Nicholas are his grandparents, Owen & Judy Redfern of Sidney, BC and Peter Manning, along with his many aunts, uncles, cousins. Watching over Nicholas from heaven is his nanny, Pauline Manning. Special thanks to Dr. Lacelle, Dr. Delaney, Dr. White, Dr. Ryan, MFAU staff, and case room nurses Margaret Ann & Regina for their excellent care in Nicholas's safe arrival. Mommy and Daddy would like to thank their families and many friends for their support over the past 9 months.
TUCKER-WHITTLE - Big sister Brooklynn Elizabeth is thrilled to announce the safe arrival of her baby brother Grayson James. Grayson was watched over for a safe arrival by his Angel Nanny (Elizabeth James) and is welcomed by proud parents Sherisse and Patrick. Also welcoming Grayson are grandparents Frank and Karen Tucker and Pat and Judy Whittle, great-grandparents Frank and Marg Tucker and Rebecca Wells, Godparents Jeanine Doiron and Jeremy Whittle along with all of Grayson's aunts, uncles and cousins. Grayson was born at the HSC on April 25, 2011, weighing 9 lbs. 7 oz.
