KELLY - Mike and Leanne are proud to announce their special catch. After playing her for 27 hours Mommy finally landed her on April 17^th, 2006 at 4:10 p.m. Julia weighed in at 6 lbs., 6 ozs and thankfully measured in at a 'catch and retain' length of 48.26 cm (19 in.), well under the 63 cm rule. Julia was that much of a special catch that she required TWO tags and not the normal one tag. Also...the department of fisheries deemed her beauty to be above the normal catch therefore they agreed to tag her feet vs. placing a tag through her lip. Special thanks to the two people on the dip net: Dr. Kum and the best birth nurse ever, Joan Dalton.
