The Evening Telegram, December 4, 1982 SMITH - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Dec. 6, 1982, Arthur Smith of Chapel Arm in his 66th year. His wife Edith predeceased him six years ago. Leaving to mourn three step-sons in Chapel Arm, one step-son in Toronto, two step-daughters in St. John's, five brothers, three sisters, grandchildren and all other relatives and friends. Remains conveyed from Barrett's Funeral Home, Whitbourne, to the Roman Catholic Church, Chapel Arm on Friday, Dec. 3. Funeral mass to be held on Saturday, Dec. 4, 1982 at 10 a.m.
