(The Evening Telegram, September 16, 1971, page 2) BUTLER - Passed away at her son's residence 9 Edinburgh Drive, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday Sept 15th, Jessie Belle Butler, wife of the late Albert Butler, in her 63rd year. Leaving to mourn four sons; Howard and John at Mount Pearl, James in Australia and Roy in St. John's; two daughters Margaret (Mrs. Albert King) Scarborough, Ontario, Cora (Mrs. Frank Evans) of Clarenville; also her mother (Mrs. Mary Sheppard) of Port Union; two brothers, 2 sisters and 12 grandchildren. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, Freshwater Road, until 10 p.m. today Thursday. Funeral from the Anglican Church at Gander at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. (The deceased was born at Sheppard's Cove, Catalina, NF)
