Passed away in: Newfoundland, Canada
Passed away on: 04/09/2010

Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Home, on Saturday, September 4th, 2010, Hillier, Norah Amelia - nee Hillier, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband Isaac. Leaving to mourn with with precious memories 1 sister Nina Creaner; 8 children, Marie, Carl (Pauline), June Verge (Charlie), Sandra Thorne (Winston), Lucy Smith (Stanley), Keith (Janice), Blanche Webb (Eric), Allan (Yvonne), 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, also a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Lochleigh Fiander from All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Inurnment followed at the All Saints Anglican Cemetery. Organist was Margaret Mullins. Urn Bearers were Keith and Allan Hillier. Donations in her memory may be made to All Saints Church, Fortune.

MAYO, Terry

Passed suddenly away as a result of a tragic accident near Golden Sands Resort, Burin, NL, on Monday, Sept. 06, 2010, TERRY SHELDON MAYO, of Creston South, in his 15th year. Leaving to mourn his loving parents Terry and Darlene Mayo, Creston South, sister Mandy Mayo, his dogs Maddison & Harley, special friends Cassie Fitzpatrick and Kyle Poulain, his grandmothers Joan Mayo, Creston South, and Marie Cleal, Lewins Cove; aunts and uncles Debbie Cleal Udell and family, John Cleal and family, Pauline Cleal and family, Goldie Baird and family, Linda Rogers and family, Betty Loveless and family, Max Mayo Jr. and family, Randy Mayo and family, Ruby Hoskins and family, Kim Mayo (Craig Wallace); and a large circle of relatives and many friends. Predeceased by his grandfathers Max Mayo Sr., John Cleal Sr., and cousins Dwayne Rogers, Todd Harfitt, and Karen Cleal. Majors Garry and Sandra Ward conducted the Funeral Service at the Salvation Army Faith & Hope Corps, Creston South, at 2:00 p.m., Sept. 10, 2010. Interment was at the Salvation Army Church Cemetery in Creston South. Pall Bearers were John Ray Baird, Jordan Baird, Dylan Crocker, Duane Hoskins, Zachary Hoskins, and Michael Mayo. Honorary Pall Bearers were Cassie Fitzpatrick, Kyle Poulain, and other friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry's memory may be made to the local SPCA.

MYLES, Florence

Passed away on: 18/08/2010

It is with great sadness that the family of the late FLORENCE FAY MYLES of Little Bay East announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday August 18, 2010 at the age of 64. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; sisters Molly (Eli Harris), and Lucy (Edward Skerry); brothers William (Mary) Myles and Bruce (Anne) Myles; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by parents James & Sylvia Myles. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service took place at Salem United Church in Little Bay East on Monday August 30, 2010 at 1:00pm. Inurnment followed at the United Cemetery in Little Bay East. In Florence's memory, donations may be made to The Myles Family, as they will be forwarding all donations to a charity in which Florence selected. No flowers by request.
