BARNES, George G.
Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Inter-Faith Home, Grand Bank, on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, George G. Barnes of Grand Bank, age 69 years. Predeceased by Father Abram John Barnes, and brother Gary James Barnes. Left to mourn are mother, Emma Barnes; sisters, Betty Stringer (Lindsay) at Little Heart's Ease, Dianne and Gerald at Huntingdon, Quebec, and Meta Elliott (Harry) at St. John's; brothers, Max and wife Frances at Philips Head and John and wife Linda at Grand Bank. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Majors Frank and Rita Pittman on Thursday, Nov. 4th at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. Music was provided by the Salvation Army Band, Grand Bank. Pallbearers were: Gordon Pardy, Leonard Loder, Calvin Foote, Cecil Dicks, Robert Dicks and Arthur Downey. Cap Bearer was Eric Peach. Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Band, Grand Bank. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank. "Where dedicated people care."

BOLT,  Elizabeth
Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre Tuesday, October 26, 2004 Elizabeth Bolt of Grand le Pierre. She was 80 years old. Predeceased by husband Edward, mother and father William and Sara, brothers Reuben, Chesley and John. Left to mourn are sons Edward (wife Cindy) and Willoughby (wife Elizabeth) of Grand le Pierre and Charles (Linda) of Goulds; daughters Pearl of Grand le Pierre and Eliza (Samuel) of Brooks. Alberta; son-in-law Randell Barnes of St. Lawrence. Also leaving to mourn are brother Thomas Evans, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Charlie Harris conducted funeral services at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Grand le Pierre Thursday, Oct 28 with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Grand le Pierre. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of White Dove Funeral Home, Marystown. Pallbearers were Jody Fizzard, Ashley Bolt, Dwane Kearley, Leroy Bolt, Lionel Bolt and Lance Bolt.

COLES, Mary T.
Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Inter-Faith Home, Grand Bank on Monday, November 8, 2004, Mary T. Coles of Grand Bank, age 63 years. Predeceased by parents Samuel & Helen Bungay, and brother George Bungay. Left to mourn are: husband Clayton; son Ellis and wife Rosalind, grandchildren Ryan & Aimee at Paradise. Special friends Jake, Corey & Lisa. Sisters: Melinda Alexander (Robert), Josephine Benson, Margaret Blasco (William), Mabel Hillier (Gerald), Shirley Roberts (Ronald), all at Toronto; sister Susan Riggs (George) at Fortune; Mother-in-Law Florrie Coles at Carmanville; brother-in-laws Ellis Coles (Marjorie) at Carmanville, & Wince Coles (Mildred) at Topsail. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Raymond Case on Thursday, November 11 at 2 p.m. from the United Church, Grand Bank. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank. Organist was Betty Rogers. Pallbearers were: Henry Allen, Gordon Harris, Alex Hatcher, George Riggs, Winston Coles & Gurshon Mouland. Donations in her memory may be made to the Blue Crest Inter-Faith Home, Grand Bank. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank. "Where dedicated people care."

MOLLOY, Irene
Passed peacefully away Saturday, October 30, 2004 at St. Luke's Nursing Home, St. John's, Irene Molloy, formerly of Marystown. She was 90 years old. Predeceased by husband John. Left to mourn are sons Vince (Vera) of Marystown and John (Cindy) of Atlanta, Georgia; daughters Mary (husband Bren) of St. John's, Lorraine (husband Kevin) of Corner Brook, Kay (husband Leonard) of Paradise and Marguerite (husband Martin) of Carbonear. Also leaving to mourn sister Kay in Philadelphia and a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Charlie Kelly conducted funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Marystown Wednesday, Nov. 3 with interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of White Dove Funeral Homes, Marystown. Pallbearers were Randy Brenton, Kevin Burden, Eugene Deveraux, Len Edwards, Stephen Hurley and Leo Stapleton. Cross bearer was Stephanie Edwards.

MOULTON, Gary John
August 27, 1952 - October 28, 2004

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Thursday, October 28, 2004, Gary John Moulton of Burin Bay Arm in his 52nd year. Predeceased by father - John T. Moulton. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Lenora; mother Hazel; son Kyle (Katherine) of Calgary; grandson Nicholas; sisters Judy (Terry Beaton), Winnie (Mike Power), Melva  (Bernard Brown); brothers Glen (Bonnie) and Curtis (Brenda) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Rev. Susan White officiated funeral service on November 1st from Zion United Church, Collin's Cove with interment following at Zion United Cemetery, Collin's Cove. Pallbearers - Terry Beaton, Mike Power, Bernard Brown, Walter Power, James Cheeseman, William Dicks. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin. "WE CARE."

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Saturday, October 23, 2004 Dorothy Paul of Burin Bay in her 75th year. Predeceased by husband - Edward (Teddy), sons - George & Wallace, sister - Dorothy, brothers - Wallace, Albert, William, (twin) Donald, daughter-in-law - Darlene. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Donald (Ethel) of Burin Bay, Collier (Janice) of Lewin's Cove, Edward of Burin Bay, Ralph (Donna) of Burin Bay, Clyde (Corina) of Burin Bay Arm, Bradley (Leta) of Burin Bay; daughters Ruth Paul of Burin Bay, Maxine (Randy Browne) of Spaniard's Bay, Cindy (Shawn Stapleton) of Marystown; 14 grandchildren; brother Maxwell Brown (Wavey) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Rev. Susan White officiated funeral service on October 26th from Zion United Church, Collin's Cove with interment following at Zion United Cemetery, Collin's Cove. Pallbearers - family members. SNOOK, Roy Frederick
Passed peacefully away at the Grand Bank Community Health Care Centre on Sunday, November 7, 2004, Roy Frederick Snook of Fortune, age 73. Predeceased by parents George & Bessie Snook, and daughter Arlene Boland. Left to mourn are: wife Meta; daughters, Cathy Benteau (Robert) at Point May, Sharon Mcadam (Scott) at Dartmouth, N.S., Lorraine Hines at Prince Edward Island, Helen Burton (Tom) at Grand Bank and Kimberley Lockyer (Wayne) at Point au Gaul; sons, George and wife Julia at Cambridge, Ontario, & Jerry and wife Bertha at Grand Bank; 18 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren; and sister Minnie Harris (Isaac) at Mount Pearl. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Captains Anthony & Beverley Stokes on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. from Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Fortune. Music was provided by Tom Cumben. Pallbearers were: Corey Snook, Chad Snook, Shawn Boland, Jerry Snook, Cyrus Caines & Alex Boland. Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Interfaith Home Grand Bank on Sunday, October 24, 2004 Mary E. Strickland of Point May, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband Lewis, son Gordon, parents Thomas & Veronica Strickland, brothers Gordon & Vincent, sister, Christina Collins, granddaughter,Samantha King. Leaving to mourn four sons: Howard (Eileen) at Labrador City, Paul (Rosena) at St. John's, Jerry (Evelina) at Point May, Peter (Karen) at Brandon, MB: four daughters, Marilyn King (Cecil) at Point May, Judy at Point May, daughter-in-law, Gail at Lefroy, Ont; sisters, Vera Lundrigan at Marystown, Patricia Brockerville (Howard) at Marystown, brother Alphonsus Hennebury at Toronto, Ont; sisters-in-law, Vera Stacey at Point May, Pauline Hennebury at Toronto, Ont: 24 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass was conducted by Father Frank Puddester from The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Point May on Tuesday Oct 26th at 2 p.m., interment in the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery, Point May. Crossbearer was Wayne Stacey; Pallbearers were eight grandsons, Ricky Strickland, Ryan Strickland, Michael Edwards, Darryl Edwards, Terrence Edwards, Christopher Strickland, Jeremy Strickland, Timmy Slaney. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank."Where dedicated people care."

WEST, Eugene
Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday, October 20, 2004, Eugene West of Grand Bank, age 92 years. Predeceased by wife Dorothy, son Kelvin, parents Thomas and Emma West. Left to mourn are five daughters: Florence Smith (John), Marcella Feltham (Bruce), Ellen Thomasen (Clyde), Ada Perry (Wilson), all of Grand Bank; Lugene Hillier (Charles) at Lamaline, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Elizabeth Blackmore (Stewart) at North Sydney, special friend Sandra Warren, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Raymond Case from the Grand Bank United Church on Saturday, Oct. 23rd, 2 p.m. with interment in the United Church Cemetery, Grand Bank. Organist was Betty Rogers. Pallbearers were Winston Grandy, Tom Rogers, Charles Hillier, Wilson Perry, Joe Warren, Roy Morris. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral home, Grand Bank. "Where dedicated people care."
